Dee pov

"Stop jumping."i said to ray who was jumping on the bed as i am folding clothes.

"i am excited!"said ray.then he jump off the bed and to the floor.

"Ray,stop that.sit."i said sternly.he immediately sit down on the floor.i continue to fold the clothes when ray sat next to me.

"Well,you going miss me?"asked ray.

"Well of course."

"For the whole weekend?"asked ray.

"Yeah.for the whole weekend.but the real question is are you going miss me?"

"Yeah."

"You not!"i close my eyes and fake crying.

"Don't cry,mama!i will miss you."i stop faking.

"Good."

"Yo dee!Nov is here."yelled nuz.ray ran downstairs.that kid going to be a track star how much he runs.i grabbed the bag from my bed.i walked downstairs to nova and ray.i handed nova the bag.

"He usually stays up until 12 on weekends with me -

"Wait why?"asked nova.

"Its a mother son thing you would understand.right baby?"

"Yea."said ray.nova rolled his eyes.

"Anything else i need to know?"asked nova.

"I packed some extra clothes for any accidents."ray hid his face in nova shoulder.

"But other than that he should be good."then i kissed ray head.

"Love ya."

"Love you too."said ray.

"Later."said nova.

"Later."then they left.so,what do i do now?i walked to nuz room.

"nuz what you do Friday nights?"

"Dee,really?"asked nuz.

"I never had a weekend without ray.i never have this much free time."

"Go hang out with your friends."

"Friends?"

"You don't have friends either?"

"I do.it just that um i aint cool with a lot of them like that to want to hang out with them."

"Wow.so what you do before ray?"

"I don't know actually."

"Dee,you killing me."he chuckled.

Nova pov

ray and i was watching the lion king when my phone rang.it was nia.I answer it.

"Aye,Nov.me and the crew going bowling.you coming?"asked nia.

"I can't.i have to watch my son tonight."

"Can't lexy watch him for a few hours?"

"I don't know."

"Nov,come on.Fridays are the only days i have off from work.and you know that."

"I know.it just..."

"Man,Nov.Please!"I sighed.

"Fine.i meet in 20mins."

Dee pov

Nuz and me are playing mortal komat.I won.

"Rematch"said nuz.I ignored him and pulled my phone out to call nova.

"What are you doing?"asked nuz

"About to check in with nova."then he snatched my phone out my hand.

"He is fine.now snap outta mommy mode.and enjoy being a teen for the night."I smacked my lips

"Come on."

"At least wait until 8."I looked at the wall clock.it was 6:28.I guess I can wait 2 hrs.

"Fine."then we played video games and watch Netflix until 8.

"Nuz,my phone."he gave me my phone back.I went to my room.I facetime nova.he answer.

"Sup"said nova.

"Where's my baby?"

"I am right here."said nova.

"Stop playing where is ray?"

"In the bathroom"I nodded.

"What you did today?"asked nova.

"Hang out with my brother."

"Which one?"

"How you know have two brothers?"I raised an eyebrow.

"Ray talk about them."then he look away from the phone.

"Ray,your mom on the phone."said nova.then he passed the phone to ray.

"Hey mama!"said ray.

"Hey baby.so what you do tonight?"

"Me and lexy played nerf guns.we even had a pillow fight-

"Aye baby what you do with your dad?"

"We was watching a movie but he had to leave.he come back a few minutes ago."

"Let me talk to him really quick."he nodded.he passed to nova.

"Step out the room."

"Why?"asked nova.

"Just do it and close the door."he did as he was tolled.

"WHY IN THE HELL DID YOU LEAVE RAY WITH LEXY FOR!?!?!!

"Cuz one of my friends asked me hanged out and couldn't say no."

"Nova,the whole pointed of having him for the weekend is to spend time with him!not for you pawn him out to your sister!!"

"I left for a few hours."he rolled his eyes.

"Nova,this is not a mother fucking game!if something would have happened to him-

"He is fine."

"Nova,you had a responsibility to watch him and you neglected it!"

"Dee chill."

"Chill?this is serious matter and I feel like you not taking it seriously."

"I am."

"I don't you ready to watch ray by yourself no more.tomorrow morning I am picking him up."
