"Reality continues to ruin my life" - Unknown.
Jacky’s P.o.V.
I gasp as his teeth dance over my neck, sending shivers up my spine. His hands are roaming my waist, reaching higher and higher. One leg is between mine, bringing us closer than we had ever been. A broom handle was digging into my side, but I discounted it as I ran my hands through his hair, tugging slightly to elicit a groan.
“You’re going to kill me.” He complains, bringing his lips back to mine and pressing more forcefully against me. The firewhiskey in my veins made my head roar with the sounds of the music from the room down the hall. The party was almost over but it was just beginning here.
His hands reached their mark and I bit back a moan. I pulled him closer and met my tongue with his, desperate for more of this exotic feeling. He wraps one leg around his waist and I let go of my previous moan at the feel. Gods, I knew he had been around, but I had never assumed D—
Light invaded our hideout as the door was wrenched open. I dropped my leg and fell back into the shelves as my eyes took in the person standing there.
Draco raised a blonde brow, his eyes glazed over with firewhiskey. A ditzy blonde, I think her name was Astoria, hung off his arm, giggling like a mad woman.
“Drakey, let’s go back to the party. We can do this another night.” She giggled. I scowled and then my eyes widened as I looked to the guy who I had thought was Draco.
“Seamus?” I squeak. He blinks, swaying a bit from all the drinks he had consumed as well.
“Who else, darling?” He slurs. I keep my emotions in check and grab his hand, going slowly as the world tilts. I brush by Draco, missing the way he shivers as my arm brushes his bare one. I pause as I notice his costume. He’s dressed as a Chinese Fireball. I shake my head.
I’m never drinking again.
…
I groan as a pillow hits my back.
“Go away” I order. My head is pounding, make it stop!
“If you hadn’t gotten drunk last night, then I wouldn’t be hitting you. We have classes in an hour. Get up!” Hermione orders. Suddenly the covers are gone and cold water is pouring over my body. I shriek and launch out of bed, pushing away the hints of power in my body.
“I’m up! Go wake up everyone else you cranky old hag.” I seethe. She grins and walks out smugly. I glare after her before hauling myself up and getting ready. Damn all perky bookworms. Damn them all!
I plop into my seat at the Gryffindor table, blinking blearily around and noticing nearly everyone that was at the party do the same. I wasn’t lying when I said it takes up to three days to recover.
Dumbledore stands and silence ensues over the Hall.
“That must have been an excellent party last night. I found myself nodding off to the beat of it in my rooms.” A light chuckle flows through the room. Followed by groans as sensitive heads are hurt.
“To prevent the likely events of drifting off in classes today and possibly dangerous inattentiveness in lessons, today shall be an extended weekend. Madame Pomfrey has provided the correct potions in each of your common rooms to alleviate you of your…ah ailments.” He said with humor. The students murmur a quick yay, as any form of cheer would end in that person’s most bloodily beaten death.
“Have a restorative day!” He claps quite loudly, the teachers doing the same. I grin despite clapping my hands over my ears. The teachers; they can do a nicety while doing an evil.
Once the hung-over students are stable enough, they stand and amble off to their respective common rooms. Ginny falls into step beside me, blinking around blearily.
“I hate firewhiskey.” She groans. I nod.
“Amen to that.”
“So I heard you and Seamus heated things up in the broom closet last night.” I stop so quickly that I fall. Ginny helps me up, grinning.
“We did?” I gasp. She chuckles.
“Yeah, Seamus remembered this morning and told Dean, who told me. He’s quite pleased by it. I expect he’ll be going further soon. Apparently, he…” She whispers the details of last night in my ear. I pale and feel slightly sick.
“That’s it! I’m never drinking again!” I declare firmly, marching towards the common room to tell Seamus exactly what I thought of his little move last night. And also to inform him he was having dinner with my family. Very, very soon.
