Chapter Eight

Amber's pov

By the time we reached the house our wolves had calmed down and our human part is beginning to realize what just happened. I looked at Emma, she indeed exhausted herself this time. You might be wondering why we didn't obey the king's command. It is true what Edan's wolf said. To us our ruler is Emma. Her wolf is our alpha and Luna. Well you see when the rogue attack happened Edan was on patrol duty being a pack warrior and was on the other side. Emma's sister was her paternal guardian and I was her protector but when Emma's sister died the power went to Edan making him her paternal guardian. So we get to make decisions when she is incapable and also offer advice. After the rogue attack Edan was demoted to omega because he couldn't save his family and the pack.
" oh Emma why did you not tell me. Now you have exhausted yourself " said Edan sadly
"don't worry she will be fine. Right now we have to worry about others. How do we explain what happened. They will be questions but I can't keep lieing to Kyle, it will kill me"
" I know, me too. Am a goner when I look at Lilly but it's not ours to tell. When she is ready we will tell them until then we keep shut"
"okay if you say so "

Damien's pov

We arrived the house and we went inside came up on their conversation. I told everyone to be quiet.
" it is not ours to tell. When she is ready we will tell them until them we keep shut"
"okay". Then all was quiet. I entered and saw another person holding my Emma I became furious. My wolf was ready to come out and claws the eyes of the person but I reasoned with him and told him he was her brother so he calmed down.
" I can take care of my own mate and you guys have some explaining to do and I have stayed too long in this pack and my pack needs me so pack up we leave at dawn and I expect you guys to be present at the pack hall this evening immediately after dinner. Am I clear?"
" yes our king " everyone replying and bowing.
I left the palour to my room and laid Emma on the bed. She looked so graceful and beautiful even with the scar on her face. It was like it cut through her right eye. What could she be hiding from me that she can't tell me and will try and reject our bond?

Poor Edan and Amber.  They have to keep quiet about it and phew thank god Damien hasn't found out. I really can't wait for Emma to wake up
