I slept for 2 hours, but, as soon as I woke, Brianna was the first thing on my mind. Nathan stayed the whole night, he comforted me, while I was asleep.

"How do you feel, babe?" He asked.

I looked up at him and gave a slight smile.

"It's better now that your here," I said softly.

He smiled and reached for my hand, I gripped onto his hand.

"Have they found my baby girl?" I asked with concern.

Every time I even mention that, I start to tear up, I can't think straight like it was all my fault that this happened in the first place.

"No honey, but, there's some bad news," He said looking down.

I looked up and prepared myself for the bad news.

"Tell me, Nathan."

He sighed and held my hand tighter.

"They found Brianna's shoes and costume on the side of the road," He said.

My eyes widened, I started to shake, my hands and my whole body was trembling.

"Brooklyn," Nathan said with concern while shaking.

I grabbed Nathan's arm tightly, so tightly that my nails dug into his skin.

"You promise me that nothing will happen to our baby girl, ok?" I said with a trembling voice.

Nathan took my hand of his arm and placed it into his hands and looked me in the eyes.

"Brooklyn, I married you because you were everything I wanted and never wanted to let you go, but, your caring heart is the reason why I knew that you would the best mother for my children and my job is to keep our family safe, so I want you to trust me that I won't let anyone harm our daughter," Nathan said still staring into my eyes.

"Of course," I said with tears in my eyes.

At that moment, the doctor walked in and checked my condition.

"Good news, Brooklyn, you can go home today," the doctor said with a smile.

I nodded at him.

"Thank you," I said.

He nodded then left the room.

"I'll pack your bags while you get changed," Nathan said.

I nodded in agreement and went to get changed in the bathroom. As I finished I walked out of the room and picked up my phone the lockscreen wallaper, had a photo of Brianna and I just wanted to burst out crying. I walked over to Nathan, I looked at what Nathan was placing into the bag it was Brianna's plush, everything just reminded me of Brianna, I just wanted her back, I wanted my daughter safe and sound.
