Chapter 11 "Hard Time"

Tuesday 9:00 AM

"In the Hospital"

AJ was still sitting in front of Becky's room covering his face with his hands, he didn't hear any news about Becky since last night.

Luke and Karl went to the bank because their boss Randy has called them and told them that they have to come to work.

A police officer came up to AJ.

"Mr. Styles! We need to start investigating in the murder so I want to ask you some questions. If you are ready to answer, tell me." The officer said so AJ nodded in agreement.

The officer sat with AJ to ask him the questions.

"You weren't in the house when the murder happened right?" The officer asked.

"Right." AJ answered.

"Do you know who was in the house when you weren't there?" The officer asked.

"My wife was alone." AJ said.

"No one usually visits you at this time at night?" The officer asked.

"No." AJ answered.

"Do you suspect someone? Anyone that is angry with you or anyone that have threatened you lately." The officer said.

"I don't suspect anyone." AJ said after thinking for a while.

"Are you sure? Because we found something that says that the murderer is a person who knows you and wanted to get revenge from you." The officer said.

"What?" AJ said in surprise so the officer took out a piece of paper from his pocket.

"We found this paper beside your son on the bed." The officer said and gave AJ the paper.

In the paper was written "EYE FOR AN EYE, AJ!"

"Do you have any idea who could have written this?" The officer asked.

"I....I have no idea!!" AJ said.

"Ok....we are done....Just sign this paper." The officer said so AJ signed it and the officer left.

After few minutes a doctor entered Becky's room and stayed there for like 10 minutes then came out.

"Mrs. Becky has just started to get up." The doctor said so AJ got up immediately and entered the room.

Becky's mother and father were sitting beside her bed so AJ went nearer.

"Ahhh...Ajay!.....My son....." Becky said moving and starting to get up.

AJ sat beside his wife and holded her hand as she started to get up and open her eyes.

"What happened? Where is my son? Where is my son, AJ?!" Becky said so AJ took a deep breathe but he didn't say anything.

"Where is my son, AJ?! Tell me where is my son?" Becky said but AJ didn't answer.

Becky's mother and father were watching and the mother was crying. When Becky saw her mother crying, she started to realize that she wasn't dreaming, she realized her son really got killed.

Becky started to cry out loud so AJ hugged her trying to calm her down but she kept crying.

After a while, the doctor came in with a police officer.

"Mr. Styles, I need to talk to you." The doctor said and he took AJ to the outside meanwhile the police officer asked Becky's parent to leave him and Becky alone because he was going to ask her some questions.
