*Louis' POV*

I smiled as I walked into my bedroom, seeing Olette watching some cartoon on the telly hanging on the wall.

"Hello, Olette." I said softly, sitting next to her on my bed.

"It's Oli." She said, not taking her eyes off of the telly.

" 'Oli'?" I asked.

She nodded, still not moving her gaze.

"Mummy always called me Oli."

I couldn't read the expression on her face.

Huh. A six-year-old is better at hiding her emotions than a twenty-two-year-old... I thought to myself.

"Can I talk to you, Oli?" I asked.

She sighed and grabbed the remote, turning off the telly before turning to me. I bit my lip, before speaking.

"So, as you know, your mummy is... well, she's gone. So, you will be staying with me and my roommate, Harry. Things will be different, but I promise you'll love it here. If you need anything or feel uncomfortable, just tell me, okay?" I spoke slowly, since she's little.

She nodded and smiled a little.

"Thanks, Daddy. I know Mummy's dead. She prepared me. And, even if you're not her, I know you'll love me and care for me, just like Mummy said... right?"

I smiled and nodded, hugging her.

"I've always loved you, even if you don't know me."

She grinned as we pulled away, making me grin as well.

"Alright, I need to go talk to Harry, okay?"

She nodded and turned the telly back on, resuming her cartoon. I got up and walked back out to the kitchen, where Harry was.

"Haz," I said, coming over to him.

He was sitting by the window on one of our bar stools, staring out the window.

"Are you okay?" I asked when he didn't answer.

He stayed silent, not moving from his spot. I frowned, crossing my arms.

"Are you ignoring me now?" I asked.

He sighed quietly and turned to face me.

"How old is she?" He asked quietly.

I knew he was referring to Olette.

"She turned six in May."

He looked down at his hands.

"Six years, Lou. You had six years to tell me, and you didn't." He looked up at me with hurt-filled eyes. "Six fucking years to tell me you had a fucking daughter. When you broke up with Eleanor, I thought she hurt you. I never thought that you would get her pregnant. I still can't believe it. And now, with Eleanor gone, you have a daughter to raise. I was not expecting this."

I glared at him. "I'm the one who has to raise her, not you. You can leave. I'm stuck with her!" I snapped.

I heard a tiny gasp and turned to see Olette standing there, tears immediately filling her grey eyes.

"Oli, I-"

She just shook her head and ran. I followed her as quickly as I could, but she was just too fast. She bolted out the door and down the street.

"Shit!" I cursed, grabbing at my hair.

"Louis fucking Tomlinson, you'd better get in that car right now and find that little girl." Harry said sternly, going to my car.

I quickly got into the driver's side and Harry got into the passenger's, then I sped down the street. I started to panic when I couldn't find Olette.

"Harry, I don't see her. What if she gets kidnapped? Oh God, what if I cant get to her in time and I never see her again and-"

"Calm down, Boobear. We'll find her." Harry said reassuringly, holding one of my hands.

I nodded and bit my lip, squeezing his hand nervously.

"Louis, right there. Look." Harry said, pointing towards a small playground.

I pulled over and saw Oli sitting under a big oak tree, her hands covering her face. I sighed and got out, running over to her.

"Oli, you cant run away like that. You scared the shit out of me." I said, seeing her flinch when I swore.

"You don't care. You're just being nice because you're stuck with me." She mumbled.

I sighed and knelt down to her level.

"You know I love you. I was just mad when I said that. I didn't mean to upset you."

She looked at me with tear-filled eyes.

"Mummy said she loved me, and then she left me."

That made me cry as well. I pulled her into a hug and let the tears stream down my face. I now knew why she was so emotionless. She was grieving the loss of the only person she loved.

"Boo," I heard Harry whisper.

I looked up and he gave me a sad look. He extended a hand for me, which I took and he helped me stand up. I saw that Oli was getting sleepy so I carried her.

"Here, I can take her." Harry said.

I smiled at him and he took Oli, getting into the car with her on his lap. I got in too and we drove home silently. After we got home, Harry put Oli to bed while I made a cup of tea. Suddenly, I felt arms around me. I sighed and leaned into the touch.

"Thank you, Haz." I said quietly.

He hummed in response and rested his head on my shoulder.

"I love you, Boo." He whispered.

I smiled at that.

"I love you too."
