One year later...

Blade and Samael had carried on as manservants for Ciel Phantomhive, unable to see their little sister ever again. Sebastian had feeling deep inside, not allowing them to be free. Ciel was locked in his room, starving himself into extinction. So this is how it felt. How it felt to burn. Burn with hatred, to burn with sorrow, to burn knowing you could've done so much to stop it, but do it anyway. The queen stopped her letters, giving assignments to the new bird, knowing Ciel wouldn't be ready. But the assignment for the new bird was, to find Ciel and meet him, to know what was wrong.

A large knock on the door rung through the castle. Sebastian stumbled his way to the door. Being greeted with a scowling, serious face. She looked emotionless otherwise.
"Good morning, I am the new bird on the assignment from the queen." Her voice was stern and monotone, she stuck her pale hand out to greet Sebastian, humanly.
"Pleasure." He shook her hand and allowed her inside. He looked as if he had been crying, his face red and puffy.
"Whatever has happened to this beautiful mansion, it looks as if it was abandoned?" Her posh voice asked. Allowing more personality and sorrow into her sentence. Sebastian stood.
"We do not have to answer, I'll call Ciel down, if he comes is his choice." with that the tapping of Sebastian's loafers signalled he had left the room. Shaking her head she allowed a few stinging tears to fall, from her black lifeless eyes. It was like bullets or a nice had hit her heart, piercing it leaving her to deal with the extricating pain. So much pain. Her long white hair drifted behind her as she tidied the place. Her red eye gleaming more than her blue. How she wished they cared more. She wished she knew, why? Why did they do this? Why are they so careless? And who did they care so much about, to neglect this once gorgeous mansion? The tapping of shoes was heard. Seven footsteps.

Sitting herself back in her seat, she sipped her tea. Allowing her full eyes to close. She lifted her head.
"Good morning," she reopened her eyes. They all looked at her bored.
"Why do you wake me?" Ciel's blue eye that could be seen was dull, lifeless and looked as if all happiness was drained from him. She let rage run through her fingers and through her body.
"Why? Why do you stay hidden, who had done this to you. Sir! Please tell me," Nobody had talked to him like that, except Selena. Breaking down into tears, he commanded her to leave. So she did. Without a word.

Another two years later...

He is 17 today. Ciel Phantomhive, 17 years. Wow. The new bird had been fired. And Ciel had regained his posture and power. Never getting to close to anyone ever again. Blade and Samael became street rats, being fired by Ciel. And Sebastian was the second butler, the original butler being the head once more.

I am the new bird. My wings are quite unique. Black on one side, white on the other. Like my eyes. Blue on one and red in the other. I wore my locker of a clock. Allowing my ears to listen to the beautiful music of town's circus. Ciel would be there. I knew it. With all my heart I wished to see him once more. So I decided. I would wear that same outfit of that tragic night. Hoping he would not push me away, again. I put on the pink dress, and hat, placed the eyepatch over my blue eye and comb my now black hair. Wow, after being taken from that night, knocking on deaths door and being bring back to life and experimented on. It was like death had already seen me. I am death's only exception. Sprouting my wings I walked up to the tall bulky man. I handed him my ticket and sat on the third row back. Joker seemed to recognise me, so did beast and doll.
"Mind doing an act tonight, mademoiselle," he stated smiling. I nodded slowly and stood from my seat. Going backstage. My red eye gleamed. I waited for my queue.

"And now, an old friend from a few years ago! Angel!" With that I walked out. People looked confused but a certain group of teenagers' eyes seemed to glow as I walked on. I climbed up the pole leading to the tightrope. Stepping on, I pranced to the middle. Parting my legs into the splits.
"She's no Angel! She doesn't have wings!" An adult yelled in disbelief. It all felt the same as three years ago. I decided it was time. Ciel looked bored. So I began to fall. He stood trying to get to me on time before I hit the ground. I saw my mother at the top of the rope, I reached for her but she just waved her hand. I knew how close I was to the floor. My wings spread in instinct. White and black. I slowly floated down. Looking back up to my mother who told me to turn around.  I ended up twirling in the air to look at the audience. Curtsying I looked at Ciel.
"Where were you?" He spat. My heart sunk.
"I used to be early bird. But I got fired, I was left for the scientists again. Ciel Phantomhive, believe me, I wanted to see you, but I couldn't." He ran the rest of the way towards me. Embracing me in a hug, with such force I fell backwards. I laid on the floor hugging Ciel Phantomhive. A crying 17 year old. His blue eyes glistened as long tears escaped from them. The group of kids clapped as I hugged him.

We decided to leave after the circus was over. Back to the manor. He had come alone after all, I was eager to see my brothers and father. I would have told them about the war but it wasn't the right moment...
