"Drive me home." She told me ng makarating kami sa labas.
"Sure." I opened the car door and she slid inside.
"If you don't mind me asking, she's your sister, right?" I asked about it. Sa nakita ko kanina sa restaurant mukhang sya nga yung kapatid ni Amanda.
"Yes." Bitterness in her words.
"And the guy?" Although kilala ko kung sino sya, ayoko munang sabihin dahil baka sakin pa magalit to. Tsk, alam kaya ni Nathan pinagagagawa nitong si Clark?
"That guy, I swear I don't like him!" Kitang kita mo sakanya na ayaw nya talaga si Clark. I wonder kung bakit napaka overprotective nya sa kapatid nya.
"Noelle is lucky to have. You really worry so much about her."
Nang sabihin ko yun, hindi na sya umimik pa. I glance at her paminsan minsan at nakatulala lang ito, di malaman kung anong iniisip.
One week palang kaming magkakilala. Kasi one week palang ng maassign ako sa company na pinagtatrabahuhan nya. And one week ko narin itong sinusuyo na lumabas kasama ako. Yeah, I like her and her personality. Masyadong masungit kahit maganda. Kaya gusto ko pang maging malapit kami.
Kaya ito, ng mapapayag ko na syang lumabas kasama ako, tsaka naman sumulpot ang kapatid nito na kumakain din pala sa restaurant na pinareserve ko. Bakit kaya ang malas ko ngayon? Tsk.
"Thanks for the ride." Lalabas na sana sya ng pigilan ko ito.
"You still owe me a date." I reminded her.
"Yeah. About that, sorry sa nangyari kanina. I just can't help it." Pag amin nito.
"You really love her that much, right?"
Ngumit lang ito bilang sagot. "Good night." Lumabas na ito sa kotse kaya umalis narin ako agad. I called Nathan about the thing earlier. Well, he needs to know para masabihan din nya ang kapatid just in case.
