Transferring schools was always scary, but transferring to Southside how was horrific. You were absolutely terrified. Serpents and Ghoulies around every corner. You weren't so much scared, more nervous. You don't have very good people skills and are nervous you'll say something weird.

Walking the corridors was terrifying. You had got your timetable and locker number. "Oh fresh meat!" You hear someone laugh. You ignore them and make a run for your next class.

English. You have always loved English. You wouldn't class yourself as smart, but others would. You just loved to learn new things. You say right st the front, next to the teacher. Everyone giving you weird looks. A girl with link hair sat next to you. "I'm Toni Topaz, nice to meet you." She smiles. You shake her hand.

"(Y/N) (Y/L/N). Nice to meet you too." You mutter.

"Awh, you're shy. Don't worry, I'm one of the nice ones. I'm a serpent, but don't worry. We are harmless, it's those Ghoulies you need to stay away from." She whispers. You nod and smile at her. You spend the rest of the day with Toni, expect at Lunch. You sat outside on your own, not wanting to be inside the canteen.
Maths now, last lesson of the day. You went into class and the teacher started asking questions. You answered every single one of them, wowing everyone. "Didn't know you were so smart." Toni nudges you.

"Hey newbie. Come sit with us, we'll show you a good time." You look over and see a group of Ghoulies smirking at you. You slide down your chair a little so you weren't sitting up straight.

"Back off asshole." You turn around and are Toni's friend, Sweet Pea growl at the Ghoulies.

"What are you going to do about it, snake?" The Ghoulie laughs.

Sweet Pea storms over, but Toni and their friend, Fangs jump up and stop him. Class ends pretty quickly and everyone leaves. You were a bit taken back at what the Ghoulies were saying.

"I'm sorry about that." You look up and see Sweet Pea.

You brush a piece of hair behind your ear. "It's ok. Thank you for sticking up for me." You blush.

"Anytime, babe." He blushes and walks over to Fangs, while you leave with Toni.

"Damn bro, you got it bad." Fangs smirks, pinching Pea's cheeks. "You're in love."

"Shut up, Fogarty." Sweet Pea groans. He looks up and watches you leave, smiling at how cute you were.
