=•10 Minutes later•="We need to find a way out of here" Eddie complains as he catches up with the rest of the group.
"Where even are we?" Richie asks as he gestures to their surroundings. "your guess is as good as mine" Beverly sighs. "I-It's another d-dimension" Bill suspects as he stops and faces his friends. "What? Like those stupid comics, you read" Richie snorts as Beverly slaps his shoulder. "Bill's right, this is not the earth we live on," She says. "oh yeah no shit Sherlock" Eddie spits as he walks closer, trying to not step on anything suspicious. "Guys..." Bill says softly. "Well, I don't see you coming up with any better answered" She raises her voice. "Yeah, cause I'm kinda freaking out here.." Eddie gets cut off. "GUYS!" Richie exclaims. "look," Bill says as he points towards something they hadn't noticed yet.
A brow looking building off in the distance, they could see one of the walls was covered with similar vines to inside the sewers. A red glow was coming off of a wall they couldn't see fully, because of the direction they were looking at it, but it had to be something.
"C-Come on, it's o-our only l-lead," Bill says as he continues walking, a little faster than before
After about fifteen minutes of walking, Eddie complaining something brushes up against his leg and all the losers regretting the fact they were all in short sleeves.
Once they reached the building they made their way over to the area with the light. They were taken back by the size of this thing. It was basically as large as the building and it looked more like a crack space-time continuum than a wall of slime.
"Now t-that's a p-portal" Bill lets out a sigh. "What if it doesn't lead back to Derry" Eddie wonders as they stop walking. "Would that be so bad?" Beverly asks. "You wouldn't have to keep taking care of the hog" Richie comments as Eddie lets out a frustrated sigh.
When they walked through this portal they fell into a laboratory looking room.
"Think this is under Derry?" Eddie asks as he takes a step further into the lab. "Some bad shit must've got down here" Richie gestures to the dead, bloody body on the ground beside the portal. "Eh," Beverly takes a step back. "Let's keep moving" Beverly looks away from the body.
"What do you think happened here?" Eddie asks as he looks at the broken glass, leading into what looks like an observing room. "Some messed up shit must've happened down here" Richie comments as he kicks a helmet that should belong to a hazmat suit. "W-We ne-e-ed to keep m-moving" Bill announces as Beverly grabs a perfect shaped rock. "Watch out" She calls before chucking the rock at one of the more broken windows. Richie then grabs another rock and gets rid of the small pieces that are still left.
After they climb through the window and get into the observation room they notice that there are panels upon panels of controls. Buttons, switches, radars, you name it. They most likely have it.
They find the exit to that room, where a door should've been. But it was halfway down the hallway. The lights flicker above them as they walk down the debris-covered hallway.
"D-Do you g-g-guys hear th-that?" Bill stops. After a moment of silence, he hears it again. A schreech. "I-It's h-here" Bill confirms as they all turn in the direction of the noise.
"Hey Eddie looks, it's your cat" Richie giggles as they see it. It was similar to the larger creature, but now it was more in a dog form. It lets out another screech and this time, its face opens up like a flower. But inside it's slimy and filled with razor-sharp teeth.
No one even needs to say anything, they all bolt. They run straight, then make a turn. "Here!" Eddie exclaims as he points to the door labelled staircase. They open it up, rush inside and close the door. They rumble up the stairs until the first turn where they stop. Beverly stops a few steps away and sits on the larger turn stair. They all pant as they keep their eyes glued to the small window leading into the hallway.
