Dre's POV

I was exhausted after leaving Mr. Han's house. I was annoyed too because all I did was put on my jacket, take off my jacket, drop it, pick it up and hang it. I thought he was gonna teach me real kung fu.

I walked into my apartment and my mom asked, "Hey! How'd it go? What'd you learned?"

I replied with a simple nothing as I hung my jacket. It is unlikely because I am really not in a mood for her nagging about hanging my jacket.

I took a shower and got dressed for the night when I saw my phone buzzed with a text from Keung.

'Do you want to come to the park or no? If you're too tired then I'll just tell Cheng to apologize to you at school tomorrow.'

I was surprised Cheng even want to apologize to me. I can be a forgiving person so I can talk to him. But I'm hella tired now. So I replied with, "Nah, I'm too tired. I'll will wait until school."

Keung replied with, "Alright, I'll see you tomorrow."

I put my phone on the table beside my bed and fell asleep.

Keung's POV

I was walking to school with Xing, this time I am not nervous to be around Dre.

"I'm glad Cheng is willing to apologize to Dre for his misdeeds," I told Xing.

"Me too, he tends to let his anger get to him without thinking," Xing said.

We made it to school and we meet up with our friends.

"Hey guys," I said and they greeted back.

"Cheng, didn't you have classes with him?" I asked him. I don't remember asking Dre if he even have classes with Cheng.

"No. He was probably happy because I scared him too much. But he don't have to worry about that anymore." He has the look of guilt on his face when he realized the thing he put Dre through.

Dre's POV

I walked to school and this time, I remembered to wear my uniform. I saw Keung with his friends with some girlfriends. I couldn't remember all of their names so I'm gonna have to ask them. I admit I do feel a little awkward because I'm literally approaching a large group of friends who I barely know. But at least I know Keung so I'll be fine. And I'm not nervous about the girls since they never bothered me.

"Hey, Keung," I said as I came in earshot.

"Hey, Dre. Now that you saw all my friends in person, this is Liang, and his girlfriend Zhilan, Xiang and his girlfriend Chunhua, Feng, Biyu, and Song."

"Hi, Dre," the girls greeted me.

"Hey, guys."

Cheng stepped forward to me, a guilty look on his face.

"Dre, I just wanna say that I'm sorry for... beating you up and make you freak out every time you encounter me and some of my friends."

Liang spoke up next, "I'm also sorry for taking part in this. And ruining your bag. I see you got a new one."

"Me too," Zhuang added. "I admit that we did had the dirty water thing coming to us."

"Had to. Let's put it behind us now."

"Thank you, Dre," Cheng told me.

"No problem, dude. Friends?" I held out my hand and he shakes it.

"Friends," Cheng smiled.

The bell rang and we head off to class.

At some point today, we have this little dance in the courtyard. Keung told me we do that every uniform day. Not sure what's the point of it, but it seems fun.

I noticed Mei Ying towards the front and I blended in next to her.

"Uniform on Uniform Day." I finally managed to wear my damn uniform.

"You are fighting in the tournament," Mei Ying said, though she knows the answer.

"Yeah. How'd you hear?"

"Everybody knows," she told me. They must've posted flyers everywhere. Then the whistle blew and the dance was over. "I hope you have a good teacher."

"Yeah, me too. He's a maintenance man." I really hope this training goes well. I only had to work on my freaking jacket.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Yes," she nodded.

"Well, I know that you're practicing, and I think I'm practicing. I mean, I don't know what I'm doing..." I was interrupted by her friends saying hi as they passed by.

"But we're both kind of practicing, you know, and..." I was interrupted by her saying this.

"Are you going to the Qi Xi Festival?"

"Yeah, I mean, I haven't missed a Shi Vi festival since I've been in China." Mei Ying laughed. I always crack jokes.

"Go to the Shadow Theater," she instructed me.

Okay. Want me to meet you? So, like, Shadow Theater. Okay. Chi Fi Shi Festival, Shadow Theater. Okay, cool." I can't even pronounce it.

"Okay."

"When is it again?" Had she told me the date?

"Tomorrow. Show starts at 7:00."

"Okay, so tomorrow, Shadow Theater, Shi Shi Festival, at 7:00."

"See you tomorrow."

"Ki Shi Festival."

"Festival."

"Shi Shi Festival."

"Qi Xi Festival."

"Qi... Xi Festival," I finally manage to pronounce it right. She nodded.

"Yes!" I did an air pump and she laughed.

"Cheng apologized to me this morning. We're on good term now."

Mei Ying smiled ear to ear. "I'm so glad you guys resolved the conflict." I smiled as we walked together to class.

Keung's POV

I'm waking to Chenguang's house with a big smile on my face. I'm so glad I don't have to deal with Cheng's attitude anymore.

I happily told Chenguang about our resolved situation and as soon as I mentioned that, I saw a glee look in her eyes, which makes me happy. I believe Cheng is done bullying people for good.
