"The scariest moment is always just before you start."

― Stephen King, A Memoir of the Craft.

Whatever worries you had last year, you have left them behind, the beautiful thing about life is that you can always change, grow and get better. You aren't defined by your past. You aren't your mistakes. This year explore your passions, get more of nature, hydrate yourself, strive for more, study harder, pet animals, put in effort, read more, and don't forget to smile.

One more year to start over, one more year to begin again.

"I do not fix problems. I fix my thinking. Then the problems fix themselves."

Ironically the inventor of the light bulb Thomas Alva Edison, said: Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.

Which category do you belong in?

Each problem has a solution, the problem is we are addicted to our thoughts. We cannot change anything if we cannot change our thinking.

"There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for."

― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Two Towers

People are cruel, selfish, mean and eviler than you can imagine. The good news is people are kinder, gentler and more loving than you've ever dreamed. Don't just give up on the world just yet.

"We all weave a web of lies. Some we tell to try to help the ones we love. And some we tell to try to fool ourselves."

― Modern family

'I'm fine', 'I'm over it', are lies we tell ourselves when we refuse to except that we are weak, in pain. Stop lying to yourself to make yourself feel better, the issue won't resolve automatically.

Lying won't fix any of it; it will only keep it suppressed until it gets too much and explodes.

I did not know who I was, I only found myself in the process of fixing myself; I couldn't have done it unless I accepted that I needed fixing.

"Everyone seems to have a clear idea of how other people should lead their lives, but none about his or her own."

― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist

An eagle while hunting sees everything clearly from afar, gets the whole overview of the situation before acting, learns about his prey, takes a moment to notices the prey's moment and then attacks. The same happens with us humans; we easily give advices to our friends & family but when it comes to ourselves we are lost, it is because we see other people's problems from the outside, like contemplating the surface from the sky. So, the trick is to see our problems like how eagles study their prey, remove yourself from the problem and try to see the bigger picture, because there is no problem created without it's solution pre-existing.
