"In between being young and being right
you were my Versailles at night"

― Fall out Boy, Fourth of July

It's scary to find someone that makes you happy. You start giving them all of your attention because they're what makes you forget about everything bad that's going on in your life. We keep them close because you think about how easily they can leave and take that happiness away when they go.

"The thing I realize is, that it's not what you take, it's what you leave."

― Jennifer Niven, All the Bright Places

Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone's life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance. We make a living by what we get, and make a life by what we give. For it is in giving that we receive.
