Boyfriends (juat a stupid idea society made up)

"Hey Willie," my friend Emily said as she saw me walking towards her inbound school cafeteria. "Hey,whats up?" I said. Emily, you can say is my only friend because I really don't open up to many people and she has managed to break the barrier I put up for people . We have been friends since first grade when a girl named Tiffany who was the most popular girl was always teasing me about looking so ugly. I didn't look good because I had stayed up all night crying because my dad had yelled at me and taunted me about being overweight stupid and never being able to do anything right and my mother did not even defend me. Well, Emily had told Tiffany straight out ,"Well, at least she doesn't have a pig nose like you Tiffany ." Ever since then I started talking to her more and we eventually became best friends . Anyways, back to school, Emily said," You'll never guess what happened today.... John asked me to be his girlfriend!" "Really, wow well that's cool ," I said kinda of unexcited. "Willie, I know you really don't think fondly of guys but be happy I've been waiting forever for him to like me back and now he wants to make it official,"Emily said. It's not that I hate guys ,no that is not the case. It's the fact that I can't ever trust them and therefore find them useless in my life and unnecessary . "Well I'm happy for you but I just feel as if he's going to hurt you Emily, you know guys always end up hurting girls ,"I explained. "Well you know what Willie, I'll talk to you later," she said while walking away rather angrily.
