Chapter 1

•Nikolina's POV•

We were all sitting in a circle. From the left side of the room, it was Aurora, Chase, Ross, Ariel, me, Ashton, Damon, Aleks, Liam, then Megan. We were just sitting and having fun, talking about pretty much everything... and nothing at the same time. For the past three hours, we've been talking about our relationships, mine with Ashton, and Ariel's with Ross. It started out playfully, like, silly little questions about what we know about each other, then everyone got a little too serious when the question, "Would you ever cheat on Ashton?" was asked by Liam to me. It wasn't because I cheated on a past boyfriend and they thought I would cheat on him too, no. I've never cheated on a boyfriend. It's just that the word "cheat" scares a lot of people in relationships. I was quiet for a few seconds, sat up, and took Ashton with me to the other side of my bedroom.

I said, "Why did you laugh when he asked me that?" Ashton is best friends with my big brother, Liam. Liam could have asked that for a reason.

"I don't know..." he said.

"Seriously. Tell me. Or else I'm gonna think its much worse than it is."

"Okay, okay. He and I talked about you and I yesterday. It's nothing. I just thought it was a coincidence. Sorry, babe."

I sighed. "Sorry for going bat-crazy. I didn't mean to act out like that. Am I forgiven?"

"Who couldn't forgive someone with a face like that?" He smiled, and kissed me. I giggled. We went back to the circle, and continued talking. I simply said, "Never in a million years would I ever cheat on the love of my life." while smiling at him. He smiled right back and kissed me once more.

It was about one O'clock when everyone went to bed. My brothers and my sister went to sleep in their own rooms, Ariel went to bed in her room, with Ross, and Aurora went to bed in hers, with Chase. Yes, it's my house, but since they're my best friends, and because I have more then enough extra bedrooms, I let them move their stuff in them so they could live with me half of the time.

Ashton and I went into my room, and got ready for bed. We each took a quick shower. I took about 15 minutes, and he took, like, 5. We weren't that tired, because we drank a few Dr. Pepper soda cans. So I put on the movie, Shark Night, and we laid down on my bed. We were cuddling, and a few minutes, maybe ten, passed by. Then I kissed him, and lay down on his chest, because I knew I was gonna fall asleep any second. I wouldn't have fallen asleep if he wasn't so warm-blooded. If I didn't have a blanket, I'm pretty sure I would have sufficed with his arms wrapped around me.
