Hello everyone!

Thanks for reading the last chapter :)

And I KNOW that not much happened but it can't be action, action, action the whole time!

So, enjoy chapter 7:

A TALE OF LOVE...AND SORROW... chapter 7

I woke up with the sun covering my face. I sighed and tried to avoid the intense light. Then, it all came rushing back. The blood, the terror. Hugo.

I jumped out of bed and looked at myself in the mirror. I had obviously managed to change into my pajamas but my eyes were swollen and my nose was still the same shade of unattractive red.

I ran to the bathroom and took a quick shower, letting myself shed a couple of tears and mix in with the water while I recounted the events. There was no blood on my skin-I must have washed that off last night but I still felt...dirty. I scrubbed at my skin until I felt as if a part if that horrible night had been washed away into the drains.

I tip-toed back to my room, careful not to wake anyone and found my phone buzzing. I flipped it open to find a text from Hugo;

'I am waiting outside for you :)'

I frowned at the message but threw on a t-shirt and jeans then glanced out my window. Sure enough, there he was; Hugo's gleaming car waiting outside for me. A grin spread across my face as I checked the time - 7 am.

"Mum, I'm going to the hospital to see John." I poked my head around my parent's bedroom door and saw that my mum was slowly waking up to my voice.

"Hannah? Are you OK?" She got up and walked over to me to give me a comforting hug.

"I'm...OK." I murmured into her chest then pulled away from her.

"He'll be fine, honey. And how are you getting there?" She asked.

"Hugo is waiting outside for me." I turned to leave.

"Hmmmm..." My mum managed, content, as she fell back into bed.

I ran down the stairs and flung the door open to find Hugo standing beside his car, a charming smile on his face.

"Hi, Hannah." He said. His voice nearly made me jump as I remembered he was comforting me last night; hugging me and whispering words of encouragement.

"Hey. How come you're here?" I walked to his car as he opened the door for me.

"I knew you would want to see John first thing in the morning." I got into the car, feeling as if I was walking on air as he got in himself.

He wasted no time to start the car and head towards the hospital; "Madforth, right?" He asked.

I nodded; "Thank you."

He looked at me with that same expression on his face that made my insides churn. "No problem." Those two words would have meant nothing if some one else had spoken them. But it had come out of Hugo's lips and that just made them weigh a ton.

So, dear, I know this may seem somewhat fast paced to you however this is an account of truth. I am not going to twist the past and say that John got better straight away. I am not going to say he was happy and awake when I saw him. This may upset you slightly, as it did to me, but it is the truth.

"I'm looking for Jonathan Wright, please." I asked at the reception.

"Alright." The woman said as she typed in the name onto her computer and saw the results pop up. "Yes, Jonathan Alexander Wright. Room101."
