Chapter 2
SAMs POV
I woke up at 5 am like I do everyday. I walked down the hall and started pounding on ashton and Callum's door. " what the hell!" Callum yelled from inside. "Up and at em' boys!" I yelled then moved on to mikey and Luke's room.
After a quick breakfast we all headed to the stables. Today I would teach the boys how to ride.
They helped me tack up 4 ponies
Ashton on hero
Luke on pebbles
Callum on minion
Mikey on pop tart
They all mounted up and started walking around the arena. I sat on my buckskin gelding Ricky and watched them. I saw something black out of the corner of my eye. a snake. Shit!! it was right in the path of hero. The others didn't spook at snakes but hero. Another story. Crap.
"Ashton look out!" I called. "Why" he yelled back. "Snake!" I shouted.
"Shit!" ashton yelled as hero reared. Hero bucked and carried on. AShton, who by now had lost his reins, was hanging on for dear life. If it wasn't a life or death situation it would of been comical.
Hero galloped off out of the arena. "Boys! stay here I gotta go get hero!" I yelled across the arena to the others.
With that I turned Ricky ad bolted out of the arena down the trail hero sped off.
I jumped over 5 logs in my pursuit. I finally found ashton and hero by the river. "Ashton. You ok" I said as I walked up to them. "Yeah I'm fine but your horse is mental" he said breathing heavily.
I heard a low growl coming from the bushes. Oh crap. I know that sound. Dingoes. Their a real problem out here. " Ok ashton" I said trying to stay calm. " I need you to slowly back hero up then turn and gallop. You stayed on before you can do It again. Don't worry about steering he will just follows Ricky"
"Sam what's going on?" he asked.
" Dingoes" I answered.
" Ok I'll go then as soon as I turn you follow" I said.
I backed up then quickly turned and started to gallop. I heard Heros hooves behind me. A log was coming up so I hoped ashton would stay on. I heard hooves clip the log then everything went black.
An. short I know but I wanted to end on a cliff hanger. Mwahah .so evil
