Chapter 84: The Truth Comes Out

Summer's P.O.V

Rosie and I exchange confused glances then run over. Noah and Daniel are fighting!

"No! I like her and I always have!" Noah yells at Daniel and takes another swing at Daniel. I bite my lip because I always knew that he did. I just never wanted to hurt Rosie. She tilts her head to the side slightly when she looks at me.

"Well she's my girlfriend!" Daniel yells and pushes Noah into the soft white sand. I stand between them to stop the fight.

"Stop it!" I yell looking back and forth between them. "You're both acting like immature babies!"

"Oh c'mon Summer. Pick me. You know you want to," Noah says standing up and looking past me at Daniel. I see Daniel step closer so I put my hand on his chest.

"I can handle this," I say and turn back to Noah. "I'm in love with Daniel. I know that you have some Dort of petty crush on me but dude, you have to get over it-"

"No! I'll never get over it! I love you! No one else! Every girl I've ever dated he's payed me to just so I'd stay away from you!" He blurts out. I gasp and look over at Rosie. Her arms unfold from her chest and drop to her sides.

"How dare you? How dare you use my sister like that?" I ask.

"Shouldn't you be flattered? I mean, I just poured my heart out to you because I love you-" he starts.

"Well I never want to see you again. Ever. Stay away from me. Away from Rosie. And Daniel and Derek and my family. Just run off again. That's what you're best at. Giving up and running away," I say.

"I am not going anywhere. You have two days to decide if you want to date me or not. If not, there will be consequences. Trust me," he says and walks off. I roll my eyes and turn to Daniel.

"You really meant all that stuff didn't you?" He asks. I smile.

"I'm just glad I could let it off my chest finally," I say and smile bigger as he pulls me toward him and kisses me.

Rosie's P.O.V

I smile when I see Summer and Daniel kiss. They deserve each other. To be happy. I walk down the beach and sit about a foot away from the water. I look at Derek when he comes nod sits by me.

"I'm sorry you had to find out he was payed to date you," he says. I nod, look at the water, then back at him.

"Well I can't be upset," I say.

"I'm glad you're not because you have me. I'd never do something like that to you. Ever," he says. I smile.

"I know," I say and lean against him when he puts his arm around my shoulder.
