Henry's P.O.V

I looked down at my watch and folded my hands again.
"Relax Henry, they'll be here. The girls were probably just late as usual," Ashton laughs.
"Yeah, and they had to stop by the house to put their school stuff away. I'm sure they'll be here any second," Alex said, and slapped his hand on my shoulder. I looked at him until he dropped his hand. I sighed and looked towards the glass windows again, to study the parking lot.
"I know. But we all know how much I hate when people are late. Especially my family," I said and rubbed my thumb over my fist.
"Oh, they're here," Ashton said and pointed towards Kyle's black 8-passenger Ford Explorer that was pulling into the parking lot.
"Finally," I said, standing and walking outside to greet them.

Rosie's P.O.V

I groaned as "Regina's" came into sight. I looked at Summer and she just bit her lip in response. We have been going to Regina's the first Friday of every month since we were born. The woman who owned the little diner was our parents oldest friend, and our mother's best friend. Seeing Regina always brightened my mood, but how the guys behave inside the diner was the real issue.
"I'm not really hungry tonight," I said, earning a look from Kyle in the rear view mirror. Chad turned around in the passenger seat and raised his eyebrows. "So I was wondering if Summer and I could just nap in the car until you guys are finished eating?" I smiled hopefully.
"Oh yeah, yeah. Of course. That seems doable," Chad said, nodding his head. I smiled and looked at Summer who also seemed excited. I gasped when they all broke out into laughter.
"Time to get out ladies," Logan said and turned around to smirk at us.
"No," I said simply and crossed my arms. I could see Summer staring at me with a surprised look out of the corner out my eye. Kyle practically skidded to a stop in his parking spot and they all turned to face me.
"What did you say?" Austin asked me.
"I said no," I shrugged and smushed my lips together.
"Come on Rosie," Summer tugged on my arm. I looked at her.
"Where's your spine tonight, S?" I furrowed my eyebrows at her. She pulled me closer and whispered in my ear.
"I'm afraid we may not have spines by the end of tonight if you're not careful about what you say?" I pulled back and looked at her.
"Fine," I said and shrugged. I followed her out of the car.
"It's about time," Henry said, his arms crossed over his chest.

Summer's P.O.V

I smiled and hugged Regina when we walked into the well lit diner. She smiled and pulled back, the wrinkles around her eyes cutting deep from her huge smile.
"I miss you my dear. You need to start coming more often," she hugged Rosie then. "The both of you."
"What about us?" Chad asked and smirked as she hugged him as well.
"You know that you guys are my family. Of course you should all come more often," she laughed and patted his shoulder. "I'll go put your regulars in."
"Thank you Miss Regina," Henry and smiled. She smiled and patted his chest before walking away.
We all sat in our normal seats at the largest table in the middle of the diner. Rosie and I sat across from each other. Kyle and Austin sat on either side of me, Chad and Logan on either side of Rosie. Henry sat at the head of the table and Ashton sat at the other end of the table, Alex and Liam sitting on either side of him.
"Elbows," I heard Henry say. I looked up at Rosie and saw her resting her chin on her hands absentmindedly. I kicked her under the table.
"Ow!" She looked at me angrily and I motioned towards her elbows. "Oh." She took her elbows off the table and folded her hands in her lap. I laughed and shook my head. I took my phone out when I got a notification.

Simone: Hey..

Me: Hi Simone!! What's up?

Simone: I need to talk to you about something...

Me: Okay. What is it?

Simone: You can't date Daniel.

Me: Really? And why's that?

Simone: Because I like him now.. you know how it goes. I always get the guy.

Me: Are you being serious?

Simone: Dead serious. Is that clear?

Me: Crystal. And just so you know, Daniel makes his own decisions. I don't make them for him.

I rolled my eyes and put my phone away. I smiled slightly when Regina placed my burger in front of me. Instead of digging in straight away, I just leaned back in my seat.
"What's wrong Summer?" Henry asked, chewing his food delicately. I just shook my head and crossed my arms over my stomach. I noticed him look at Kyle and nod. I groaned when I felt Kyle pull me up and pull my to the side.
"What do you need?" I asked, numbly. I clenched my jaw, trying not to let what Simone said affect me.
"Look," he crossed his arms. "I know that I'm always messing with you Summer, but I'm still your big brother. I protect you. I can tell something is bothering you. And you're not leaving this spot until you tell me what it is."

Chad's P.O.V

I looked at Summer and Kyle in the corner, who seemed to be arguing as normal. I shook my head and looked at Rosie. I furrowed my eyebrows and tilted my head to the side. She was just staring at the wall, completely in her own world again.
"Hey Rosie," I said. No response as she absentmindedly bit her nails. I furrowed my eyebrows again and brushed my shoulder against hers. Still no response. "Rosie!" I grabbed her wrist and pulled her hand away from her face. She just stared at me. "What's going on with you?" I laughed slightly.
"What are you talking about?" She asked, flashing a quick smile. I just gave her a look.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about," and to that, she just shrugged her shoulders.
