I sat on my bed with my laptop sitting in front of me. I typed in the google search bar "Amy and Jason Newman". Instantly the news reports came up first "Local Couple Missing From Home". Tears began to form in my eyes. "Whereabouts are still unknown." No duh they are unknown. I shut my laptop quickly holding back everything. I thought I could do this but I couldn't. I wanted to know what had happened to them but all I could find was articles about the disappearance. Overtime I did this I looked for some kind of clue. Some kind of hope that the investigators had found a lead. But, every word cut thought my heart as if it were being ripped out. Every article being the same as the last.

I thought about the last thing we had been talking about. We had been discussing pens. I had been complaining I could never find any good pens anymore. Then I hurried out the door to head to Charlotte's house. I didn't even say goodbye or I love you. Why hadn't I said that? I normally would but I was in such a hurry I didn't. Now I could never get that chance.

"Terra? Mind if I come in?" Brooke said knocking on the door.

"Sure, come in." I replied shoving my computer under a pillow and wiping any stray tears from my eyes.

"So I was hoping maybe you could babysit Ava,Carson, and Tyson for a little while this afternoon. I have this big meeting, Marybeth has asked for the day off due to it being her and Arnold's anniversary so she is visiting his grave. Brit is at cheer practice still , Josh and Hayden are at class the twins are at Austin's. Cutter Nd Cole are at practice but they should be done soon . Preston is hanging out with some girl he met. Michael is at a friends house. So I need someone to watch Ava, ,Carson, and Tyson?"

"Sure no problem where they at?" I asked looking around her to see if they were anywhere to be found.

"They are all down for a nap right now. I won't be back until about 530ish but Cutter and Cole should be home in about a half hour. Britt is going to Hudson's after cheerleading. I don't have a clue when the boys will get out of class but I really need to get going so see you tonight?"

"See ya" how hard could watching three kids be I mean really?...;

****

"I want to play with Cole!" Carson screamed throwing a fit.

"Cole isn't home." I protested.

"When's he gonna be home?" Carson asked squinting his eyes at me.

"Should be at anytime." I responded for about the third time.

"Carson just sit and color!" Ava screamed at her brother angrily.

"Don't tell me what to do!" Carson responded standing up from his seat.

"Parson you gonna get in trouble!" Tyson warned barley looking up from his Cars coloring book. Carson then proceeded to stick out his tongue. Ava leaped over and tackled him causing them to fight."Pight pight Pight" Tyson chanted. I tore the five and six year old apart.

"Ava over there in that corner. Carson that corner." I demanded.

"Why do we have to stand in a corner?" Ava asked pouting.

"Your both in a time out." I replied feeling proud of myself.

"How long do we have to sit here." Carson asked tears in his eyes.

"You will STAND there for your age. Every year is a minute." I explained remembering how it had been at my house.

"I'M DONE!" Tyson yelled holding up his book. "See?" He showed me a picture of Lightning McQueen full of all sorts of different colors and scribbles. "Can I out it on the fridge like my other one?" He asked.
