Tonight, Ethan and I are going to meet Harriet for a drink. He's been telling me that she's been banging on about how much fun they're going to have. Ethan, on the other hand, is dreading it, however, he can't wait to see the look on her face when I turn up. Harvey hasn't been around much since he got a girlfriend, so he hasn't had the opportunity to see the two of us spending all this time together. Georgie insisted on coming over to help me get ready for tonight. I told her that I was going on a date, but I didn't say who it was with.
"When are you going to tell me about this mystery man?" She asked me as lounged on my bed, watching as I pulled on a black cocktail dress.
I laughed, putting my hands into my bra to move my boobs around, trying to make them appear bigger than what they were. "I don't know if it's serious," I told her, which was partially true, I wasn't sure if Ethan and I were going to ever become official.
She sat up, running her hand through her hair. "I think it's good that you're starting to date again." I smiled. "Will really ruined your perspective of things and I think it's good that you're putting yourself out there."
I twirled on the spot and grinned. "What do you think?"
Georgie put her thumbs up and grinned. "Whoever he is, he's a lucky guy."
She left fifteen minutes before Ethan got here. Luckily, I was the only one in the house, so I didn't have to worry about mum or Aaron asking questions. Ethan came inside and grinned down at me, before kissing my lips.
"You look flawless." He commented, his hands resting firmly on my hips.
He looked really good too in some black slacks and a grey shirt that he had buttoned up all the way, the sleeves long, hiding his tattoos. We left my house shortly after all compliments and kisses were exchanged. During the car ride, we came up with a plan so that the two of us arrived at different times. I was going to sit in his car for about ten minutes before I showed up, pretending that I had driven myself.
When we were parked, Ethan leaned over and gave me a lingering kiss. "I'll see you shortly, don't keep me waiting too long."
He chucked his keys at me and headed inside. I grinned like a giddy school girl as I watched his butt as he walked, everything he did was so amazing. After ten minutes was up, I quickly applied some lipstick and some perfume I had brought with me, I stepped out the car, locked it and headed inside. Walking inside, my eyes immediately clocked on to where they sat. I let the man take my coat as I headed over to them. Harriet was the first to notice me, a glare making its way on to her face as I approached.
"Sorry, I'm late." I grinned, leaning down to kiss Ethan, putting on a show.
"I'm glad you could make it." He said, pulling up a chair for me.
I sat down next to him and placed my hand on his thigh. "I didn't realise you were coming," Harriet said, her voice strained.
"I didn't think you'd mind if I invited my girlfriend," Ethan said, tucking my hair behind my ear.
"No...not at all."

After our drinks, Harriet left quickly, claiming she had to be back quickly. Ethan and I ordered one more and sat chatting quietly. The two of us were laughing at how easy it was to wind Harriet up, the two of us hoping that we wouldn't have to do this again. She did, text him saying it was lovely to see him – but she didn't mention me. On the car ride back to his house, he sat with his hand on my thigh as he drove, humming along to whatever crap the radio was playing. Heading inside his apartment, I took my shoes off and put them by the door.
