Georgie and I sat in a bar, the two of us talking about the holiday we were planning on going on next summer. It's currently October and the two of us are already starting to save as we're planning a trip to Barbados and we know it's not cheap. Sipping on my glass of wine, I took a bite of the burger I ordered whilst looking down at my phone.

"Maybe we could book it for July, not many people really go in July."

I nodded my head in agreement, laughing to myself at the message that Ethan had just sent me. Georgie looked over at me and narrowed her eyes in curiosity, shoving a chip into her mouth as she nodded to my phone.

"Is that Mr Mystery?"

Shoving my phone into my pocket, I took a sip of my drink and rolled my eyes. "It might be." Georgie smirked. "Don't go getting any ideas...we've only been on one date."

My best friend sighed. "I just want you to be happy. Is that too much to ask? You seem to dig this guy, so why don't you try and go on another date? Perfect opportunity to show that you're interested."

I shrugged. "Maybe...he might not reciprocate the feelings."

The rest of the dinner went well. Georgie had dropped the subject of dating – thank god – and we carried on discussing our holiday. I drove home and wrapped myself up in my blanket in the living room, watching some show that Aaron was currently watching. Ethan has been super busy with work this week so the two of us haven't had the chance to see each other.

Mum is starting to get suspicious now that I'm out most weekends seeing as I used to rarely leave the house. She's been asking where I've been and who I've been with. The majority of the time I just bring Georgie into it and tell her to go along with it if mum ever asks her. Harvey comes home once or twice a week, just to make sure that no one steals him room whilst he's gone – I've debated moving in and so has Aaron.

That night, I went to bed early. Tomorrow I was going out with Georgie after work, because she insisted that it wasn't healthy for me to stay in on a Saturday night. I don't mind going out, but id rather spend my evening with Ethan.

I was a drunken mess before we even made it to the club. It wasn't often that I got this hammered, but let me tell you, I certainly enjoyed it. Georgie and I were grinding on each other to Pony by Ginuwine, laughing loudly as our friends videoed us. We've never really cared about what people thought of us, so when we saw a group of girls looking at us in disgust, we just smiled and carried on.

Feeling thirsty – not like that – I headed over to the bar and ordered a drink. Whilst I was waiting, I clocked on to the blonde beauty that used to have my heart. Will was with his friends, downing shots of what looked like tequila. I looked away before I made eye contact with any of them, but I was apparently too late when Will appeared at my side a few minutes later.

"Hazel..." He grinned looking me up and down, "you look amazing."

I looked up at him and smirked, tilting my head to the side. "I know." He chuckled. "How've you been?"

He shrugged. "I'm decent."

Will was never any good at small talk, he was always the type to cut to the chase. His friends were watching us intently, their eyes flickering between us, waiting for one of us to make a move. I chugged my shot and patted Will's chest as I put the shot glass down, picking up my other drink.
