Ethan's POV

Brunch ended and the swamp rat kept on fidgeting.

"Stop moving!" I told her. She was seating beside me.

"Hala. Ano na lang iisipin ni daddy? Galit sayo yun." She said and I rolled my eyes. True that, bro. Her dad loathes me 'cause her sister and I did the uhh, thing. We lose our virginity to each other when we were 12. We ran away and we did my stress reliever and after we did it, we were cuddling when the door opened and his dad was there. It was cool when he punched me in the face but it hurts. My mum was- wait a minute! The reason her dad hates me is because Georgina told him where we were and.. Ohhh!

"You! You're the one who did this! This is why Gemma and I can't be together Oh I hate you so much!" I shouted and she looked at me curiously.

"Ha? Ano?" She asked.

"You told him where we were." I growled.

"Ay ikaw pala yun! Eh di ko naman alam. S'not my fault na mga haliparot kayo." She said and as soon as she realized whatever she said, she covered her mouth immediately. it was my turn to be clueless. I looked at her curiously.

"Haliparot? What?" I asked and she sighed in relief.

"Nothing, don't worry." She said and I nodded.

"So, pagkatapos ng 5 months, okay na? Gagawa na lang ako ng story tapos sasabihin ko nakipagbreak na ako sayo." She told me and I looked at her in disbelief.

"You will not do such a thing!" I shouted and she looked at me curiously.

"Omg! Matagal mo na ba akong gusto tapos kaya mo lang ako niyaya maging girlfriend kasi torpe ka? Hoy! Hindi tayo talo ha!" She told me and I rolled my eyes.

"That's the most stupid thing I've heard since the day I was born.. Well actually no but let's go back to the argument, dream on lady.. I like your sister but we can't be together anymore because of you." I told her and she looked at me..

"I still don't get it. Bakit hindi tayo pwede magbreak after nun?" She asked.

"Sige." She said and started looking at her phone.

I looked at my phone as well but I stopped 'cause she squealed.

"Aah! Tangina naman oh! Bakit naman di niya ako hinintay?!" She mumbled and I looked at her curiously.

"Why? What's happening?" I asked.

She stood up and hid her phone.

"Ehehe wala.." She answered and I eyed her suspiciously.

"Let me see.." I said but she shook her head.

"I wanna see.." I said but she ran away. What was that?! As the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat so I chased her. We're Tom and Jerry. I'm chasing a swamp rat. What even..

I managed to keep up with her and because the universe loves me, she tripped. I snatched her phone and looked at the screen.

"O-kay? Why are you looking at Andy's profile?" I asked her and she looked down.

"I, uh, fan?" She said and I grinned.

"Oh, okay. So, you wouldn't mind if I drag you out of my mom's stupid gala and go to our band performance?" I asked her and she nodded. Whoa, she must really be a fan.
