Chapter 4

" So Zachary, what do you like to do at the weekends?" I asked,

"Ugh! Don't call me that!"

"Sorry Zacky got carried away!"

" You will never stop calling me that now will you?"

"Nope!"

" Well to answer your question, I used to surf on the beach , but as we have moved and the sea is further away I was going to spend my weekends finding out about my parents friends, daughter who also lives next door."

" Ok that is so creepy!"

" So"

" Ok what where yo planning to find out about me?"

" What things you liked, who your friends were, if you had a boyfriend...."

" WAIT! Why do you need to know if I have a boyfriend?" I yelled

"Um...."

"Does little Zacky have a crush on the rich girl next door!"

"NO" He shouted

"Yes you do your blushing! Go on ask me out!"

"No"

"Why?"

"Because when I meet a girl I like to find out about them and have a really good pick up line. But I don't have one."

" Ok I look forward to the day when you think of one to tell me!"

" Don't worry you will!" He yelled from down the road.

We had been to the shops and Zach had bought me my favorite sweets, midget gems. it was very SWEET of him, get it! No forget it that was sooo cheesy! And I was now getting in the front door when I saw my parents with their suit cases packed again,

" I am soo sorry darling but your mother and I have important business to attend to, and we won't be back for 6 months, so we decided instead of you living all by yourself , that Zach should live with you. see you in time for Christmas love you bye." Said my father with a sad smile.

" Ok bye" I said trying to hold back my tears. I was so upset,

3 hours later

There was a knock at the door so I got up from the sofa and went to answer it.

" Hey roomie !"

And that's all it took to make me smile, I could tell these next few months will be very eventful.
