6 months later

I am expecting my mum and dad to be back any day now, me and Zach have set the whole house up in Christmas decorations and it is looking like a winter wonderland.

"Hey Sammie want to put the angel on the tip of the tree?"

"No thanks can we wait until my parents get back , its kind if a family tradition!"

"Ok we will wait till they get back."

"So Sammie who is cooking Christmas dinner?"

"My mum makes the best roast turkey ever so I guess she will"

"Oh we'll that will be nice compared to mine!"

"What do you usually do on Christmas?"

"We will probers go to my nan's and have dinner, open our presents and then my sister will beg and force me to help her set up all of her new toys!"

"Your always welcome here for dinner!"

"We'll see."

3 hours later

*ring ring ring*

"Hello"

"Hello darling !"

"Hey mum where are you, you were meant to be here an hour ago!"

"I am so sorry but our trip had been pushed on for another 2 weeks, I have contacted Zachs mum and told her that Zach will be staying with you. sorry we can't be there, merry Christmas !!!"

"But mu- "

But I got cut off by the line.

I threw my phone at the wall and it smashed great! And I crawled into my bed and started to cry.

"Hey what's up?" Zach said barging into the room after hearing the bang on the wall

"My parents aren't even going to be here for Christmas, after they promised me!! now you have to be here with me for Christmas instead of having a good time with your family!"

"Hey, don't cry ! Now I get to spend Christmas with the prettiest girl on the street!"

"Haha very funny!"

"Yes I'm hilarious!! Now I get to show off my cooking skills!!"

"Um"

"I know what will cheer you up!'

Then he picked me up and got the angel for the top of the tree and passed it to me ,

"Here put this on the top!"

'Ok "

He then took a photo of me laughing at how childish I was being and put the photo on the tree as well ,

Maybe this Christmas won't be so bad after all!!!!!
