You waited on the steps of your house for hours. Sitting in the cold, crying, staring into the street waiting for Jimin to come. Just then you look at your phone and receive a text from Elly:
Elly: "How's it going so far?"
You: "Great! He knew how i love being ditched."
Elly: " I'll bring the ice cream and pizza"
After about 20 minutes you see Elly drive up in her SUV and park in the driveway. She comes out to see sitting on the steps, hugging your knees, with the wind blowing through your hair, and your face illuminated by the moonlight to reveal the traces of the streams that once streamed down your cheeks.
After a quick hug and weak smile, you lead her inside where you two sit on your bed, eating pizza and ice cream.
"Maybe he forgot?" Elly said
"*scoffs* Yeah. Like that's any better." You say taking another bite out of the cookie dough ice cream
"Sorry...." She mumbles taking another bit of pizza
"No....I'm sorry. I was rude. You were trying to make me feel better, in a way." You say with a giggle at that last part.
"Yeah. Let's ask him tomorrow what happened ok?" She says as she gets up and puts the food away
"Yeah. Wanna stay the night?" You say
"I already packed my clothes plus my mom said it was ok." She says
"You're the best." You say
"No you are. Goodnight (y/n)....." She says as she walks down the hall to the spare bedroom.
You smile before falling asleep.
-Next Morning-
You wake up the next morning and hurry to school with Elly. When you arrived, people were crying and others were shocked or looked sick to their stomach. You and Elly heard further down the hall and see a bunch of cops and Park Jimin's parents are there....standing over a body.......crying....
No......
This can't be happening....
That can't be....
You then muster up the courage and walk over to see Jimin's lifeless body laying on the ground.
You stand there staring in horror, then drop down to the floor sobbing.
"Jimin......." Was all you could say through your sobs
You suddenly hear footsteps and turn to see a boy holding a tissue up to you.
You accepted it and started to get up.
"*sniffle* Thank you *sniffle*" You say rubbing your eyes
"It's no problem. This is a sad day for everyone." He says with very little evidence of sadness
"Yes. May I have you're name? I don't think we've met."
"Oh! I'm Jeon Jungkook." He says
"Hello Jungkook. I'm (y/n)."
*Speakers Click On*
"Attention all students. Due to the sad death of our beloved student Park Jimin, school will be canceled for the next couple of days so everyone can mourn. That is all."
*Speakers Click Off*
Just then Elly runs over to you and hugs you.
"I'll drive you home." She says guiding you away from Jungkook and the body
You both then walk away leaving Jungkook to stand alone in the hallway.
