LUSIO And The Hidden Emperor

28. Showdown Begins

          Lusio woke up. "Zedin, whats going on? What happened? Who was that? Was it Hex? What did he tell you? Tell me..."
-"It can't be helped... I guess..."
-"What? Have you given up?"
-"That doesn't matter anymore—"
-"You are an angel. Have you lost it? You can't abandon humans. Can you? No matter what you can't lose hope."
-"I can't do it..."
-"I get it. Coward... If you are not going to help then don't. But I will fight. I am not giving up. I will avenge the deaths of all. You can't even avenge the deth of your wife. You called yourself a worshiper of god? Really? Shame on you... I am going. You stay here and just cry."

         Lusio came out and joined Nancy in the army commands. The weather was getting worse. The emperor was totally revived now. In the Castle, the emperor stood up from his seat and went to the balcony. He open his sleeves and waved his both hands twice. The ground in front of the castle was devastated at once. What an immense magical power! He started laughing as loudly as possible. He started waving his hands randomly here and there. The total area began to fall apart. "AMAZING... YOU SEE... IT'S AMAZING...!!! HAHAHAHA HAHAHA...!!! I feel alive again. The Lavytan hillside was also feeling the Earthquake. "Soldiers! It has begun. Are you all ready to take om charge?!" Lusio asked the army. All yelled as one "YES!". "So take out whatever you have got and stag you lives in this as there is no tomorrow. So let's—" before Lusio could complete the sentence, Argius(Zedin) called out from behind. "Are you planning to leave me behind?"
-"So you are ready now." (Lusio mocked)
-"As you said, there is no tomorrow.. So there is no holding backs... I was always in the front. Today will be no different."
-"Let's do it then..."
-"Yes... Together."

            The whole army set off for the castle. Lewis saw it from the window that a large crowd was coming to the castle. He ran to Arthur. "My Lord... They are coming..."
-"Let them...! It is so fun to see a battle."
-"But—"
-"Don't 'but' me... Just go and fight with your army. Don't let me down. I will not use my powers on these filthy humans."
-"Yes... your wish my lord."
       Lewis set off with hus army. Lusio was is front line on a horse along side of Nancy, Suzain and Zedin. Nancy spreaded her towards Lusio. Lusio held hers. They could see the armoured army was coming closer to them. "Are you ready Lusio?"
-"Yes I am. You?"
-"Um hum.. Promise me Lusio... No matter what happens, you must go on. We will win."
-"I promise. We will win... Together. Sam is waiting for his sister after all."
     Then he turned to Suzain. She was already watching him. She said," You remember your promise right?"
-"Yes I do Suzi...!!"
-"And one more thing... It may be the last time... I LOVE YOU LUSIO... I love you..."
-"I love you too Suzi....I promise, it won't be the last time."
          
          Slowly the two armies were getting closer... Closer... And finally they intersected each other. On upon another body began to fell down. But it was told that the war must be ended either way. Lusio used his powers to keep Suzain and Nancy safe. He could not do that much counter attack in that unstable condition but using archery skills. As he was the only one to end Arthur, it was a priority to keep himself safe. The battle was going on the total place surrounding the castle. Everyone was blood thirsty to get revenge of their loved ones. Here the will took over the strength. Lusio and Nancy finally made it to the entrance of the castle. The gate was locked. Lusio broke it with his powers. Now the royal guards attacked them. Lusio took out the sword finally. He merged his powers with the sword and fought back. Nancy was cooperating very well. They took down the gate guards. Nancy held one of them and frightened him to death. She asked him about the secret jail where her father was supposed to be kept. The guard took them to the jail. The searched every portion. Finally in the last cabin they found Nancy's father. He was in a fatal condition. He didn't get to eat well. He tried to say something. "I know the core.... I know how it should end..." he murmured.
-"What is it dad? What are you trying to say?? We are here... Dont worry...Everything will be alright—"
-"No... Listen carefully... Kill her... This world will be end with her... Kill her..."
-"Kill whome dad?? Who are you talking about??"
-"S- S- Su—"
        An arrow came from behind and stabbed his heart. Three royal guards were there capturing Suzain. Nancy's father died immidiately. Lusio furiously took down them but that one with suzain got away with her. Nancy was out of her head. She took her sword and was about step on. Lusio resisted holding her hand.
-"Leave me Lusio... I am going to kill that Bustard!!..."
-"No. I can't leave you..."
-"Leave me Lusio..."
-"No. Please calm down Nancy. I don't know how are you feeling right now but I am sure your father didn't want you to be dead. If you will go alone, you can't win against him. He will kill you—"
-"So what do you want from me? Sit behind and watch? My father just has been killed Lusio... In front of my eyes... How are you expecting me to react."
-"I know... But your father wanted you to live... Didn't he? And either way, I can't afford to lose my only family I have here. My sister."
       Nancy stopped and hugged him. She was crying bringing all of her heart out. She shouted like a maniac. Her personal world was destroyed.

          Zedin was also heading towards the castle. He saw a man was standing right in front of his horse. He punched the horse and Zedin fell down from it. The eyes of the man were crimson. No doubt it was Hex. "So you want to play long even after being checkmate!! Impressive..." Hex told Zedin. "I have no intention of being checkmate. Save your own ass, Bustard!!" Zedin replied. "Okay then, let's do it in our own way." Hex ran towards Zedin and a massive energy along with yello and black flames emitted from them.
     
               Lusio and Nancy were going upstairs but that was not an easy thung. Every storey had a lot of guards. They kept fighting. Lusios sword was sparkling with his powers where Nancy's with her rage. They were a deadly combo which was even better than the whole squad of gueards. Lewis came down with a bow and arrow. He was hiding behind a wall and aimed at Lusio. He shot the arrow. But by the meantime Nancy saw that. She came between them and took the arrow herself on the back. Lusio's immence emotional hazzard at that moment emitted a huge energy which killed all of them at once including King Lewis. Lusio helplessly took dying Nancy in his arms and sat down. "You will be fine...You will be fine. You will be fine.. Nancy... Hang on... ;!!!!" (Lusio was crying like he was just born)
-"Lusio Lusio... Look at me. (She holds his face with her palms) I am okay. I am fine. In fact I am glad. I never imagined that my life will be worth something after entering this world. But after meeting you everything changed. I got a brother. I got a aim. My life started worth something. Lusio... I am relieved that I am dying like this. In peace—"
-"YOU WILL BE ALRIGHT... DONT SAY SUCH THINGS..!!!"
-(Nancy smiled) Please Lusio... I want you to smile when I say goodbye. Remember when I kicked you down in the fall. The times when you messed up... The wicked things we did together... Your love cinfession that you tried to hide... (Lusio smiles with an empty heart and tearful eyes.) Yeah.. That's my brother. Take Care Lusio... Your sis loves you always... And... LIV—"
        Her heart stopped. "I love you too sis... I love you too... Plzz... Nancy.. Open your eyes.. Stop joking around... I need you... NANCYYYYY...(His tears fell like rain... His voice of crying was echoing through the whole area) NAAANNNCCYYYY!!!!!"...
