LUSIO And The Hidden Emperor

29. Ultimate Showdown

           Losing Nancy triggered his emotional hazzard much more. He made her eyes shut and took his sword. He head to upwards. His face had no expressions. Whoever stood infront of him, he sliced him off with his sword. Every step he was taking was reminding him of the whole year he stayed there. The friends he made. The family he got, the first comrades, Mrs. Ravera, Aunt Natalya, Kim Lai, most of all, Nancy. The moment they spend together, the emotions they shared, the promised the gave each other. The fun they had together, all of them was going like a flashback in his head. It was all gone. Before he realized he reached the top floor. He was in front of a huge door. Neither he knocked nor he pushed. He broke it down. Behind the door the emperor was standing. The hidden emperor.
-"Oh ho. Come come Lusio dear. I was eagerly waiting for you. Do you know how much I awaited a worthy opponent to fight with. Hahaha.... Finally my wish came true.. A kid who is challenging a god... How fun it is...—"
      He laughed and laughed... Lusio didn't say a word. He waved his sword and blood came out from Arthur's cheeck. Now he stopped laughing. He threw a fierce glance at Lusio. "How dare you...!! How dare you show me my blood..!! You will die. Arthur threw flames at him but Lusio was able to counter them with his sword. The fight was looking like even.
      On the other side, Hex and Zedin were fighting to death. They were using same kind of powers too. The energy emtiing from that two one by one battles were breaking down the castle eventually. The villagers were also doing well. They were counter attacking in full potential which leads them to a win. But the castle was falling apart. They all ran for life out of the Castle area. Lusio saw that Suzain was laying in the corner of the room. The room began to be broken down. He took Suzain in arms and jumped down.  Suzain layed on the ground and Lusio was over her protecting from the bricks and rocks dropping. It made him weak. But still he got potential to carry on. He looked at Suzain and said "I can do this Suzain." He kissed her. And stood up. Everywere was dark because of Dust. Soon the dust was gone by the heavy wind flow and the picture was clear. Wasting no time Arthur attacked Lusio. Lusio could barely stand up. But still he continued. "Give up kid. May be I will grant your life." Arthur offered.
-"Grant life? Mine? Fight jerk. I am not afraid."
-"As you wish my boy."
       Arthur kept attacking mercilessly. Lusio was being hit again and again. It was going beyond his tolerating limit. Still Arthur kept hitting. Suzain omce came between and lost her sences. His eyes began to swallow. His vision began to be unclear. "Am I dying?" he told to himself. Then he heared something. A familiar voice. It was Nancy's voice. It was her last word. "LIVE!" "Yeah. That's right. I can't afford to die right now." Arthur now was about to shoot the ultimate flame of his energy. He threw it to Lusio. Lusios eyes were stil dizzy...

           Hex and Zedin were fighting with all they had got. They were leveling the thing between them after few thousand years. "Zedin, know one thing, if you be able to beat me. Still it is no use. I am immortal and the core of this world is such thing no one can destroy. Hahaaaa.."
-"No mattet what it is I will find it and Destroy it."
-"You can't..."
-"Why?" (Their fight took a pause and heavy wind flew between them)
-"When I summoned Arthur, Maria was pregnant with a baby girl in her belly. She wanted to give Arthur a surprised so she didn't tell him. When she went to look for Arthur, he killed her in the hotel room. You know what happened next? I went to the room and revived her body. I manipulated her memory and made her mad. I took the body of the manager and kept taking care of her until she gave birth to the little child Suzain. You know what I did next? Haha... I implanted the core of this world in her body... She is not an adult so you can't manipulate her. You can't kill her. The only human can kill her is Lusio. But he loves her the most. You are checkmate again pal."
-"How dare you....!!!!!!"
       
                 Arthur's flame was about to finish Lusio off when he yelled out "MARIAAAA!!!!". The flames stopped moving. "You loved Maria. Didn't you?" Lusio slowly got up and told Arthur. "Stop it...!! Stop it...!!" Arthur resisted. "She was pregnant.. Wasn't she?" Lusio kept saying. "I told you stop this!!!!" Lusio was weakening him bringing back his human self back by Maria's name. "You killed her. You killed Maria. The woman you loved. The woman who loved you the most... You are a monster..!!!" Arthur was effectively being weak. His flames were being unstable and less glittering. His eyes were crimson but slowly it was being green like normal. It was harmonically changing. His soul was trying to take control of hus body but he was under Hex's spell which he was not being able to get rid of. He started to emit the last bit of his powers and fall apart. Now it is the time. Lusio took his sword again. He gathered all the power he has and ran towards Arthur. He gone straight by his side decapitating his head from his body. "And this was for Nancy and everyone had died because of you... You bustard!!"

            On the other hand Zedin played his sword right through Hex's host body's chest and Hex was relased. Hex saw that the emperor was dead. So he started running away. But Zedin had nothing to do until his host body dies. Suddenly an arrow came from behind and stabbed Argius's body. He looked behind and it was Lusio who was still aiming at Argius. Lusio shot another one, this time, right through the heart. Zedin got free too. Zedin caught up with hex and now it was again a battle between an Angel and a Devil after thousands of years. The sky was being coloured by a mixture of scarlet and Blue. Their fight was so intense that it was like the Sky is breaking down to earth. Hex was trying his best not to lose but Zedin's angel form is way stronger than him. And now that Zedin got his form back he called an army of Angels. They gathered and captured Hex. Zedin nodded his head and said, "CHECKMATE OLD PAL!!"
         The sky became blue. More blue than before. The villagers knew what it means. It meant they won. They were crying in happiness. Everyone was shouting Lusio's name. But among the all shouting and happiness he was remembering what he lost and what he had yet to do. His mission was not to defeat the emperor. His aim was to go back home with everyone else. Zedin came down to him. "Congratulations Lusio! You won!"
-"No.. Not still.. I have the most important thing yet to do. My aim was to go back home with everyone else. So I have to find the core and destroy it. Until then I can't win..."
-"You don't have to find it. I know where it is."
-"Where is it..?? Tell me whete is it..." (Lusio's eyes were lit with anxiousness)
-(Zedin hold Lusios hands invisibly) It is in... It is in SUZAIN'S HEART!"
         Lusio went all pale. Everything was eventually being taken from him. What left was only the girl he loved. And he is told that he has to kill that girl himself. How far one's fate can go? Understanding nothing he fell down and hold his head. He kept shouting and Crying amond the all happy atmosphere. Everyone was smiling while the hero, the reason of their smiles, kept crying...
