"Thanks for the fact Captain Obvious." You snapped back. The boy, Newt, still stares at you. "Who are you?" He finally asks, hinting at a cute accent. "Why should I tell you." You retorted, not trusting him that fast. "Aw shuck, we got another sassy one." He says grumbling. "Why should I trust you!" You yelled, startling the boy a little.
He stared into your eyes, not breaking eye contact. "Because I've been in your situation" He says calmly "We all have. When I came up in the Box, I was confused and scared, too." "I'm not scared." you said quickly, trying to give off a tough expression. Another boy jumped into the box. "If you ain't scared, you ain't human." He says sternly.
You looked at the two boys, evaluating them if you should trust them. The other boy reached his hand out. "I'm Alby," He says, "and welcome to the Glade."
