LUCY POV

"Happy Birthday! Yume!!" All of my friends and family exclaimed as they clapping their hands with smile on their face to me. Yep, today is my 18th birthday and today we celebrate my birthday in my house. We laughed and sang together. "Gomen nee, everyone. I can't celebrate party tonight." I apologized. Since party are always merrier at night! But you know, yesterday, Mavis told me to have a little talk with the other dragons. And it seems so important, so i can't refuse it too.

"Don't worry! I son't know why but it seems you have a little business." Said Sheryl.

"She's right! If we still can celebrate Yu chan Birthday party, it's okay!" Luchia suddenly hugged me. "Now now, blow your candles!" Hotaru said. Then, we celebrate my birthday happily until afternoon.

"Mom! I put these plate here okay? I already throw most of garbage. I'll take a bath first!" I shouted as i climb up.

"Aah, what a nice bath." I sit up on my bed while open my milk. I drink it slowly. "Ah! It's the best to drink milk after took a bath!"

"Are you an old hag?" Mavis said as she floating around my room. "How rude! It's really good you know! Try it if you really that curious!" I yelled at her, feeling embarrassing. "Hmm.. But Lucy, why did you take a bath? We have to go now, you know." I flinched. Gosh, i forgot about the talk! Lucy idiot! Idiot!

"W- well, sorry I forgot. Wait for a minute, I'll change first." I open the wardrobe and change to white long sleeves t-shirt with red ribbon on the middle of my chest, and pink short skirt until my knee. And i wear my normal black shoes. "Here we go!" Mavis open the portal and we already in the castle. "We've waited for you, Mavis, Lucy." Celesty greeting us with a smile. "This way." She led to a big room where every element of dragon already sit there.

Fire Dragon, Igneel

Air Dragon, Grandine

Iron Dragon, Metalicana

Poison Dragon, Dokuro

Water Dragon, Alenia

Lightning Dragon, Inazumago

And the other dragons in human form, of course

Celestial Dragon, Celesty too.

And in the middle of the long table, across me, Light Dragon, Hikaru. Ah, anyway, Hikaru is the strongest Light Dragon, and the one who trained Sting, Weisslogia is only number two than the other Light Dragons.

"Please seat there, Lucy chan." Hikaru san smiled at me as she posture an empty seat across her, since Mavis already took her seat. Then i sit as she said. I look around and feel really heavy mood here. "Um..-" "Lucy, let me ask first. You are curious about why the dragons abounded their child and go back here, right?" She asked. "H-hai!" I answered nervously. Well, everyone eyes are on me so i can't help it. Then everyone laughed at me, makes the mood lighter. "Lucy, you don't have to be that nervous! Let's talk like we all always do!" Hikaru smiled at me and i smiled back.

"Well, to tell the truth, I'm curious why did the dragons abounded their child and go back to their Realm, while their child always searching for them even until now..!" I said while looking down, remembering how hard Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel try searching at Igneel, Metalicana and Grandine san but the reality they just enjoying their life here. I clenched my teeth. "Why?! Why did you abounded them and enjoying your life here?! Natsu, and everyone are trying hard searching for all of you, you know?!" I look at them with tears on my eyes.

They began silence, looking down with sad eyes. "We have no choice back then, since our Queen was dead." Igneel said. "Eh?"

"The Queen who control and balancing this world and EarthLand died on year X777, month 7, on 7th." Celesty continued. "They right. Because of our Queen's died, we losing the balance and we have no choice to go back, because the balance are crumbling. Not even gave those child a word." Explained Hikaru. I nodded, understanding their condition. "And, about our preview Queen who died that time, her name was Layla-" my eyes widen as she said that name. "-Heartfillia." My mother, as the Dragon Queen? "I look at Mavis and she nodded at me. "But, how? I know they died at the same time, but why my mother?" I asked curiously at Hikaru who know everything. "Sorry, it seems she didn't want you to know. Since she wanted you to have the normal life routine." Hikaru apologized while looking into my eyes.

"That's mean, I.." I look back at Hikaru and she smiled. "The current Queen is me, and I'm the closest friend with Layla. But with my power, i can only balancing Dragon world, not EarthLand, so the dragon can't back to EarthLand." She said. And the room silence for a moment.

"How about it? Do you want to inherit your mother to become our Queen?" She asked at me. "I.. I.." To tell the truth i don't know what to do. I don't want. But it doesn't meant i just don't want because it's too annoyed, no, i just feel.. I want to be the normal mage, Lucy Fairy Tail, nothing more and nothing less than it. But i feel want too, since my mother was their queen, and i have to inherit that position, but I think I'm still young and i can't.. I just can't rule and manage this world. What if something happen? What about everyone in Fairy Tail if i become Dragon Queen? Do i have time to take the jobs and playing with them again? I don't know. I want to refuse but i feel bad. What should I do, mother?

I look at Hikaru hesitated. And it seems she know what i thought. "If you don't want, you don't have to. Since I'm the Queen now." She said. "We just want to tell you the truth and want to hear your answer." She smiled. "I'm so sorry, even you already tell me and asked me, I..!" "Don't worry! I relief to hear the answer from yourself." She smiled and walking to me. "I'm sorry!" I apologized, as she become closer. I widen my eyes as she suddenly hug me. "Hikaru.. San?" I called. "It's okay, i just want to hear the answer from yourself. And i think i know Layla's feeling." She smiled. "I want you to have the normal life like the other people have too. Not as the Queen who always getting pissed off by so many paper on her desk." She giggling as she pulled her hug.

"If it's your choice, there's no help. We can't force your own life, and we just can support you from behind and remember, you always have us in your heart." She kiss my cheek and smile. "Hikaru san.. Arigato!" I jumped and hug her while hopping a little, because of my happiness. Everyone just laughing at Hikaru, who scare if we fall down, and we really fell down. "Lucy!" She yelled. I just laughed more and she joined laughed. "Thanks, Hikaru san." I whispered at her ear.

"Seems everything settled." Mavis smiled at Hikaru and she nodded.

After an hour, we talked for a while about many things. The most is about how was my mother when she's here, etc. and Mavis suddenly shouted it's my birthday, and everyone partying happily for me. They make rainbow fireworks and anyway, they having feast until midnight! "thanks for tonight, everyone!" I said. "And Sorry.." "Geez, you still apologized. Are you gonna apologize until you die?" Igneel rubbing my hair again. "Igneel!!" I shouted at him. "Kidding, kidding." He surrounded. And everyone laughed at him. "Okay, goodnight, everyone!" I greeted at them and hop in the portal.

"Hey, Mavis." I asked as we landed back in my room. "What?" "Even thought they say that, am I not a bother to them? Easily reject their offer.." I sit on my bed, not bothering to change into pajama. "It's okay, they want you to walk your own path happily too, not being force by them too, you know. If you happy, then it's okay for them." She smile as she take the pillow and sleep while floating. "Good night..!" She said, then i turn off the light. Looking up to the ceiling for a while, and fell asleep.

"Mother.."
