New Era of Fairy Tail

I won't believe it.

"Why.." The scene of herself died in her best friend's hands is still fresh inside her head. She flies in a high speed, nowhere to go, just fly and fly while clenching her teeth. "Zeref..." she flapped her wings again before disappearing from the spot.

At the other side, someone who feels uneasy since these days was jolted from his sleep. He panted and clutching his head tightly with his pale face. "No way... there's no way she's awaken..." Zeref muttered.

"Zeref!" Lucy's smile face was popped out in his mind. He miss her, but he can't let his ego controlled him and go for her. She's finally lives in peace, and he can't interfered her life now. He's just a stranger, or maybe someone known as The Dark Mage Zeref  who's dangerous for the mages including herself. But, recently his uneasy becomes more and more as he felt the old Lucy's magic suddenly got stronger.

"No way..."

It's been one week since Team Fairy saw Lucy killed all the Dark Guild members alone,  including the Guild Master. Her cold red eyes tells them she's not the Lucy they know anymore. They knew it, even Natsu too. After they came back from the guild, they explained all to the guild members. Levy finally knew it, that the person which all the black mages search for so long is Lucy, and not to use her as a sacrifice. She cried and always blaming herself for not realized it from the beginning, and Gajeel trying to calm her since then. After Team Fairy reported what they saw, Natsu excuse himself and stays in his house since then, even Happy couldn't come closer to him.

it's raining now, the Guild's atmosphere became heavier because of the gloomy day. They don't drink, they don't laugh, they don't drunk, They just stay silent while thinking about their nakamas. Ever since then too, Makarov locking himself in the office and won't come out too. Mira sighed. It'll be a long time to makes everything like normal again. If Lucy is here now with them...

"*Ha-chi!" Lucy sneezed inside the cave. her body soaked and herself is hugging her legs tightly with a small fire in front of her. 

"Lu...ce?"  Natsu said with his unbelievable eyes, looking at her. She tightening her hugs more. Her eyes was locking at the fire, which is remembering of Natsu.

"Oi Luce! It's me, Natsu!" Natsu stepped forward. She narrowed her eyes and bit her under lip until the blood came out.

"Wait- Luce!"  
"Arrghhh!" Lucy shouting in frustration. What's wrong with her that day? She knew that she's awakening, she know that she's the Lucy that lived along with Zeref and kil- "ump.." Lucy suddenly covering her mouth, trying to hold her puke as she remembering about her past.. about how they live and killing people. Why? Why now she feels sick when she thought of the people she killed? All those time, she always killd them without mercy, but now she feels like... like the old she's doing was not right. Somehow she took the wrong path. But why now?

Is it because of her life as Lucy from Fairy Tail? Lucy looks outside to the starry sky now. And then she remembered the night, the last night she and Natsu had at the hospital, watching the stars and talking about her past as Yume. She sighed. Now she can't go back to that time, when she can laugh, cry, mad and smile with her friends. They already saw her, the old her when she's awaken. The real is, it's not neither of she too. That day, the magic, the memories and the emotion of the old Lucy was comes out too sudden, and made she lost her balance and didn't know how to do again except let the old Lucy came out.

"Oi! Don't you ever forget our promise okay?!" She exclaimed.

"No, I will not! Don't worry, baka!" Zeref laughed behind her.

She smile a little at the happy memories.

"You'll got a surprise in one.." Zeref raise his eye brow at her who's take her step closer to him and he step back in reflect.

"Two.. three!" suddenly, Zeref slipped and fell in the river. Lucy laughed while holding her thumb in hurt. "See? Surprise!!" she said between her laugh.

Lucy bit her lower lip.

"Oi! It's because I thought you'll do something to me as you say that, so I stepped back!"

"And you got the bite!" Lucy point at his wet face. Zeref narrowed his eyes at her before joining laugh with her.

"I will not forget our promise.." Zeref smiled.

That's right. There's no way he killed and betrayed her. There must be some mistake there. She believes in him, she know he's not that bad in reality, not as everyone think about them. Yes, it's just a mistake, there's no way he would kill her. She can't believe it. She won't believe it. But something he did makes her "believe" gone slowly.

"Did I choose the correct answer?" Zeref murmured, as he walks throught the forest. He saw it again. And it's not his first time or thousand time again after that day when he last see her face. Again, humans killed each other, and use their strength, magic to try to rule their own race. Making chaos and just wanting to fulfill their ego. Zeref can't take this anymore. He once called Agnolia before they fell asleep in thousands years. Human won't change, or even worsening when he's sleeping too. He will not let them go as they want and continue stain the world again. Sorry Mavis, but I already decided this. I can't take this anymore. I hope you'll understand. He said mentally and open his red cold eyes and walking straight into the cold cave, not knowing someone is already there.
