chapter 3 someone?

It was early in the morning. around 6:45 am. everyone was still asleep. I didn't get any sleep at all. I was constently thinking of Kirstie and what she was going to say to me. I'll just read the diary instead.

hey diary it's me Kirstie

we made it! Scott got the phone call today. We're gonna join the sing off! We skyped with Avi and Kevin. They were just as excited as we were. Avi even cried of joy. He was so cute when he cried. I wanted to hug him so bad. but anyways jeeh the sing off! this is gonna be good! there's only one problem. we're gonna miss alot of school. Mitch already missed his graduation but he says it all gonna pay off. I hope so. Mitch and Scott are downstairs giving a party for our friends. I'm gonna join them now.

that was a great day. I couldn't believe we were trough. I even cried but Kirstie really wanna hug me? would she have done that if I was there in real life. I guess not Kirstie was able to hold this secret from me for over 3 years.

I looked at the clock it was 7:00 am. Great just 15 min past. that's gonna be another page then.

It is our first week on the sing off and man I am excited. We're gonna do ET by Katy Perry. I have a solo in the bridge and I am nervous as hell. If I don't calm down soon, I'm gonna trow up on the stage. Scott mostly has solo's so he is used to this. when arranged I realised how an amazing bass Avi is. The low notes Avi can hit are just unbelievable and so sexy. why do I like this guy so much. I barenly even know him. Maybe if I just egnore the feelings, it slowly will go away.

wait does this ment she doesn't like me anymore. I was so confused. I wanted to read further but just when I turned the page.

"Hey Avi, why are you awake so early?" kevin asked

"I can't sleep"

"why not? you seemed very tired yesterday night"

"too many thoughts"

"dude you're just acting like Kirstie, did you both experienced the same thing?"

*knock knock*

"Avi?"are you awake?"

It was Kirstie. Why was she awake so early?

"yes Kirstie, hold on a sec"

I quickly threw on a shirt, jumped out of the bed.

"wow calm down man, it's too early to be active" kevin laughed

I opened the door and saw Kirstie standing in the hallway in her PJ's. She looked so cute. cute what am I saying it's Kirstie a colleague and good friend not more.

"did I wake you up?" she asked

"no I could't sleep anyway"

"well me niether, what you said yesterday, I could tell you everything, can I still do that?"

"always, also when it's too early in the morning"

she giggled when I said that. I couldn't help but I had too say it.

"Kirstie you are beautiful when you smile"

"Thanks" she smiled and looked down while shoving a piece of hair behind her ear.

"But where do you wanna talk about kirst?"

"I like someone but if I tell him I'm scared he will end our friendship"

Did kirstie just tell me she liked someone?

"Who is it?"

"I'm not gonna tell you"

"You can trust me I won't tell anybody"

"I know but that's not why I came to you"

"Yes, he is stupid if he says no"

Kirstie turned around and wanted to walk away.

"Kirstie, wait!"

"Yes?"

"Do Scott and Mitch know?

"Yes, they kinda do but they also don't know who it is"

She walked away.

While I didn't move and just stood in the hallway, not knowing what to do. Kirstie just came to me for advice. She has never done that. What was I doing before Kirstie came? Uuuhhmm. oh I was reading the diary. Did I hide the diary? Oh shit maybe Kevin found it.

I walked back into our room. Not looking at kevin. I just walked straight to the bathroom to get a shower. Untill Kevin stopped me.

"Avi?"

"Yes?"

"What is this?"

I looked at Kevin and saw he had the diary in his hands. Oh no he did find it.

"I'ts a diary" I said trying to sound as calm as possible

"Is it yours?"

"No it's not"

"If it's not yours, who's it is then?"

I looked down. I felt so ashamed.

"Why do you have Kirstie's diary?"

"no that's not true I knocked it over when I grabbed Kirstie bags"

"So you just took it?"

"Kev my name was writen all over the pages with hearts on the I's"

"That's still not a good reason to take it with you"

"What should I say then?"

"Hey kirst here's your diary, I found so I took it with me and read it so here you are"

"No just give it back"

"Can I just get it back kev?"

"Just remember, that it's not good behavior"

"Kevin, Avi are you in here?"

It was Mitch.

"Yes, where here"

"I just wanted to say that nothing was planned today so we're having a lazy day"
