It had been a week ago since we bought the house and today was moving day. I woke the girls up and got them ready. The two of them put the last few toys in boxes as well as their toys.

Zion put the last few clothes and stuff in the boxes with his name on it and so did I with the stuff I had at their house.

The other boys were shook that we were actually moving in together. Edwin said, and I quote: "That's a huge step, man! Y'all are gonna have a lot more privacy now and I'm sure that in a year, y'all are gonna have six new babies running around!"

We laughed about it, but somewhere deep in side, I knew that that was what I wanted. No, not the six kids, but a family. A family where we all loved each other, a family with closure.

We had brought the furniture into the new house already except for the beds. Quickly we raced to my old apartment where we took all my sewing stuff and the kids their beds and brought it to the new house. We decided to put that apartment up for sale since no one was going to be living there.

The house had 5 bedrooms and the girls took the second biggest one. We actually planned that the girls would have their own bedrooms but they said they were too scared, so we decided to let them share a room for one more year.

It was night and I was laying by Zion's side who was scrolling through his phone while having one arm around me.
"Baby?" I asked.
"Hmmm?"
"Are we like, a thing now?"
"I mean, we fucking moved in together so I think so..."
"That's nice."
"Yeah."

Days went by, weeks went by and months went by, we still remained a happy small family full of trust and love. The girls started asking for a dog after like two months and we got them two. One French Bulldog and a Pug. The Frenchie, called Benji, was black and the Pug, called Monkey, fawn. Benji being male and Monkey female.

"Mommy," The girls both asked at the same time, "Can we take the doggies out for a walk?"
"Yeah, wait, not alone." I put on my coat and went out with the girls and dogs.

In the dog park, I sat down on a bench while the girls played with the dogs and some other ones who wanted to play with the two adorable girls.

Suddenly a lady sat down next to me. It was the lady from that one day, where I almost hit her with my car. She didn't look at me but whispered in herself. "Cute doggo, cute doggo.." she whispered to a dog that wasn't even there. "Sit on mommy's lap." She said and she acted as if she petted a dog that was sitting on her lap.

"Are you okay?" I asked her.
She shocked. "What?"
"Which one is your dog?"
She pointed at her lap, where there was no dog to be seen.

"Girls, let's go home." I said, grabbing them by their arms, not hurting them. "Let's go home."
"Nice girls.." the lady said, caressing a strand of Grace's hair, scaring her.
"Please don't do that." I told her and I walked away with the girls.

What the fuck.

At home, Zion was suddenly gone but he left a note on the fridge.

Studio session wit the boys

The note said.
"Who's ready for a nap-nap?" I asked the girls and they groaned. "Mommy, we're old enough to not take naps anymore."
"Oh girlies, just an hour of sleep okay?" They groaned again but did as they were told and went upstairs to take their nap.

I was alone in the living room and the girls were upstairs sleeping as I was curled up in the couch watching a movie alone. Suddenly I heard something at the backdoor.
"Zion, you home?"
There was no answer.
"Zion?"

I paused the movie and got up. When I arrived at the door, there was no one to be seen, but the door was open. I couldn't help it, but the creeps were all over my body. Quickly I closed the door and figured that maybe I didn't close it when me and the girls came home from the walk with the dogs.

But maybe I'm just being paranoid.
