Chapter 03

Minji has arrived at her house. It was already 12 o'clock when she arrived. She haven't eaten yet.

"Aish, I'm hungryyy~" she plopped herself on the couch turning on the TV in the living room. She waited for Jihoon to came and she wished that he would bring her some food.

TING~TING~ The house's bell rang making Minji who almost fell asleep jolted awake.

"I'm back! Where are you Minji-ya?" Jihoon yelled from downstairs. "Do you bring some food?" She yelled back asking Jihoon because she waited for him long enough.

"Nah, just come here first!" She ran downstairs because Jihoon told so. She already downstairs but then...

"Happy Birthday to you~" all of the members of wanna one were there singing a happy birthday song for her. Jihoon suddenly hug her from behind making her laugh. She looked in front of her to saw Daniel and Seongwoo held her birthday cake together with a happy smile.

"Happy birthday.... Minji..." all of them cheered while she was blowing the candles. Before she blew the candle, actually she wished...

"I wish this year will be better and I'll figure out the reason why I couldn't go to the forest anymore." She said in in her thoughts and with that she blew the candles then Jihoon kissed her on the forehead.

"I want to kiss her too Jihoon-a." Minhyun joked nudging Jihoon on the ellbow, but then "I'll allow all of us to do whatever you or we want to her for today, as long as you make her happy and remember... no sexual harrasement." Jihoon smirked at his last warning as everyone cheered happily.

All of them hug and pecked her on the forehead too. They didn't forget to give her the present.

"Come here, Minji-ya~" Her dad showed uo from the front door making them startled because he suddenly showed up. Minji ran to her dad and hug him. "Happy Birthday, my little princess." He kissed her on her cheek and she smiled.

"Don't call me that, dad. I'm a grown up lady." She laughed. "Yeah, yeah. You're just 17 now." Jihoon put his arm on her shoulder. Well, Minji shoved Jihoon's arm.

"Here, come with me." Her dad pulled her right arm walking to the couch. "Woah, everyone are here." Her dad smiled to wanna one as wanna one greeted him, bowing 90° showinh politeness.

They sat on the couch and everyone was there sitting in a circle. All of them were already prepared their gift for Minji.

"Time for present!!" Minji cheered like a 5 years old child. "See, you're still a baby." Daniel joked making everyone laughed.

"Nah, just watch." She smirked making a I'll watch you gesture with her hand.

Her dad finally came out of his room bringing an ancient box on his hand. A square box with some woods and ancient symbols on it. Actually, wanna one knew what it was.

Her dad walked closer to her and Jihoon, then sat between them. "For my one and only daughter, Minji." He gave her the box and she took it happily. She opened it revealing a red garnet necklace. She looked at the necklace in awe because it was so beautiful.

"Thankyou, dad. You're the best." She hug him with a big smile. Her dad helped her to put on the necklace as she turned her back facing her dad. When the necklace was locked on her neck, the red garnet stone lighted up somehow. Wanna one smiled knowing what it was.

"Wait, I think I've seen this necklace before..." she furrowed her brows for a while trying to remember where it was. "Nevermind." All of them sighed because they just didn't want her to know or remember yet.

"I'll be in my room okay? Take care of her. Happy birthday once again, Minji-ya. Later on we'll eat a lot to celebrate your birthday." She nodded as her dad patted her head then walked away.

Minji was about to leave but she was pulled back by some hands. "No, no, no. You're not going anywhere." Jisung smirked trying to held her. Minji tried to escaped but no use, these guys' strength were no joke.

"Now, what?" Minji asked in annoyed looking at Daniel who just showed up with the youngers.

"Well..." PYUK!! Minji's face was covered with some whipped cream. All of wanna one laughed out loud. "Who's that!!! Ew." Minji tried to get rid of the cream but it was difficult.

"Jaehwan did it." Jinyoung from behind said still laughing. "For your birthday present!!" He cheered because he suceed pranking her.

"Hey, Minji. This is for you." Minhyun and Seongwoon gave her their gift together with a big smile. "Thankyou!!!" She hugged them and took the gift with her.

Minji has recieved all the gifts from wanna one except Jihoon. Ofcourse annoying he was, he likes to prank her.

"I don't expect your gift, Jihoon-a." She walked to the kitchen and saw Woojin with some boys there.

"What are you guys doing?" She asked opening the fridge to drink the juice.

"N-nothing. We were just talking." Woojin said stuttering to change the topic. Minji was curious because Woojin was like lying to her. She walked away to the living room again, trying to clean some mess they've made because they were playing the whole time.

Minji has finishes cleaning up the living room so she needed to throw the rubbish outside.

Meanwhile...

"Hyung, her necklace was sparkling right when it touched her neck?" Daehwi asked to make sure that he wasn't wrong.

"Yes, Daehwi. It was so she's one of us." Jisung answered him making he smiled. Jihoon walked in the living room with a happy face. "Ofcourse she's one of us. We share the same blood from our dad." He plopped his self on the couch asking Woojin for some popcorn.

"Well, maybe she needs some training to protect herself if something happen." Sungwoon suggested and everyone nodded in agreement. "Nice, hyung. I'll train her." Seongwoo raised his hand gesturing that he really wanted to train her.

"Let's just let her have sometimes with her necklace, okay?" Minhyun said calming everyone who was suggesting their self to train her. "Ne, hyung. But I'm the first to train her." Seongwoo yelled and everyone laughed.

"Do you really want to train her? I think she doesn't have any special ability yet." Guanlin said out of blue making everyone turned their head to face him.

"Really? What do you say, Jihoon-a?" Jaehwan asked Jihoon as he was about to dig in the food in front of him. "I say... I don't know because I never saw her train before." He continued to dig in the food.

Guanlin smiled with Jinyoung. "SEE?" Jinyoung smirked. "I'll train her first then. I'll teach her the basic first, okay hyung?" Jinyoung plead and the room went silent for a while.

"Okay. I'll leave it to you two. Guanlin and Jinyoung." Jisung said and both of them cheered.

"We'll have a meeting tonight after dinner." Daniel exclaimed leaving the room in silence.

Minji was outside the house now. She throw the rubbish right to the dustbin. She walked closer to the bench near the mailbox and sat there for a while. She tried to relax after some cleaning process she has done.

"Can I go to the forest?" She said it to herself. Just like selftalking because no one would listen to her when she talked about the forest.

She then walked closer to the entrance of the forest. Peaking to see what was inside there. She tried to sneak in to the forest but then...

"What are you doing here..."
