FOOLED BY LIES / wanna one

Chapter 05

It was already night when Jihoon left the house with an angry face. Minji just ignored the fact that her brother went missing.

"I never thought that he'll mad just because I went to the forest." Minji said to herself in front of the mirror in her room. She plopped on her bed opening up her phone, scrolling down through her SNS. She was bored so she turned on the TV and something caught her eyes... the news on the TV.

3 human corpses were found on the north side of the forest. The police still can't find what causes these people dead. For all citizen, please stay away from the forest starting from today. The police will do further investigation near the forest as soon as possible. Once again, don't go into the forest or even near them.

"Dang! What's wrong with this area?" Minji ran her fingers through her hair, sighing. 'Should I check the forest...' she thought. Someone knocked her door making her startled because it was silent for a while.

"Minji-ya!! You're in there, right?" It was Minhyun who knocked her door. The door then opened by Minhyun and Jaehwan who stood in front of the door. She brushed her hair quickly with her fingers again quickly, the fact that some of the boys were here even though there were only Minhyun and Jaehwan. 

"Have you eaten yet?" Jaehwan sat on the chair near her bed, same with Minhyun. She just nodded with some chuckles. "We ate dinner together. Don't you remember or you're too old to remember." She chuckled looking at Jaehwan who pissed at the words too old. It went silent again but this time Minji broke the tension.

"Jihoon..." she paused on her word. "He hasn't here yet?" She asked with a calm voice looking at them, hoping that her brother already came back. Both Minhyun and Jaehwan looked at each other for a bit then shook their head in unison. "Not yet, but don't worry. He'll come back in the morning okay." Minhyun patted her head as she smiled happily at his statement that Jihoon will be back in the morning.

They bid her goodnight and left her inside her room not forgetting to closed the door again. The rest of the members were still there... in Minji's house. Fyi, they often sleep there actually because Minji and Jihoon's father was rarely at home, and their house was just so big.

The moon decided to shine even brighter that time when it was near 3 a.m. You could hear the sound of wolves howling actually but only people who were special that could hear 'em.

It was currently 3.49 in the morning. Everyone was asleep except... Wanna One. Minji and her father were sleeping peacefully, but it was different for Wanna One.

A broken glass could be heard from the inside by Wanna One. It was not that loud so Minji and her father won't be awake.

Someone went inside the house by breaking the window. The boys ran quickly to the sound and saw...

Jihoon with some blood on his clothes.

His face was so pale, Jisung the eldest caught his body on time before he fell on the ground. The boys already knew why was his condition like that. They put him on his bed, changing his clothes with some new clothes so that no one would notice something strange about him or them.

Daniel and Seongwoo grabbed some wet towels to clean his face. Jihoon was unconscious on the bed.

"He's lucky. No one notices him." Sungwoon who stood near his body after changing his clothes sighed in relief. The younger line already sleeping actually, and that boys were Daehwi, Guanlin, Jinyoung, and Woojin who were exhausted after playing last night.

They quickly finished taking care of Jihoon and left him asleep. They were walking and was just about to rinsed the bloody clothes in the bathroom near the kitchen, but they heard some noises from the stairs.

"Who's awake!!" Jisung yelled in his whispered voice panicking. "Daniel and Seongwoo go handle that. I think it's Minji." Minhyun told them to go so he and the rest could clean up the mess. They ran to the stairs and met Minji who just woke up.

"O-oh, hi Minji." Daniel stuttered his first word because he and Seongwoo almost bumped into her on the stairs. She still looked sleepy with her puffy face and messy hair, but she didn't care.

"You guys are still awake or wake up early?" She asked scratching her eyes to see clearly as she walked to the kitchen. Both of them followed her behind to see what was she doing this early. Luckily the others were not there.

"Um... we uh still awake to clean some mess that we made earlier." Seongwoo trying to explain to her as he sat on the stool in the kitchen with Daniel. Minji then ignored that Seongwoo and Daniel were watching her movements.

She opened up the fridge, took out a box of milk and drank it. "You want some?" She turned her back and offered both of them some milk. They just shook their head smiling so she drank all of it and threw it in the dustbin. "You always wake up this early?" This time Daniel was the one who asked her while she was starting to make a cup of coffee. She shook her head, "Nope. Just have something to work on." 

She walked away again with her coffee. Daniel and Seongwoo were about to follow her but she stopped making them stopped to in shocked, afraid that they might bump into her.

"Do you guys see Jihoon?" She asked furrowing her brows. "OH, Jihoon already went back uh i his room, sleeping," Seongwoo stated with a smile then Minji just nodded. "Thanks. I'll be upstairs." With that, she went upstairs with her coffee.

Both of them sighed in relief the fact that Minji didn't suspect anything. "Hyung! Clear now." Daniel yelled a little making the rest of the members went out of the bathroom.

"Dang, the blood was really hard to be cleaned. You guys should do it next time." Sungwoon handed them Jihoon's wet clothes as they caught it in time before it reached the floor.

Daniel and Seongwoo then nodded and took care of the wet clothes as the others were resting and cleaning the living room.

"We need to tell Jihoon to be careful next time," Jaehwan stated as he started to get ready to sleep because it was almost 4 a.m. "I agreeee, hyung." Daehwi who just woke up said it out loud making them startled a bit.

"yeah, and we need to tell Minji too soon." Minhyun said with a serious tone and the others nodded in unison, knowing what should they tell her.
