The following day came and your maids woke you up early. Insisting you try on the dress that your father also sent.
Looking in the mirror the dress was indeed magnificent, but you could care less about trying to impress the guy.
You sat in your garden, you couldn't leave as you had to wait for your husband to arrive.
Smelling the Camellia flowers you felt at peace.

"(YN)!!" Hinata came rushing in with Naruto.
"Naruto told me what happened" she hugged you
"This would eventually happen I'm no longer angry"  you told them.
You all sat in the garden admiring the flowers.
"(YN) if he even speaks to you in the wrong tone I will end him" Naruto says with a serious look
You gave him a slight smile.

"(YN)-hime the prince has arrived" Naruto and Hinata gave you one last hug before leaving.
You sat back down with your back to the door scared to see what he may look like.
"You may be bring him in" you hear the door creak and footsteps getting closer.
You got up and faced where the footstep were coming from.
Your eyes looking down.
"You are more beautiful than I imagined" hands lift your chin up. His voice deep and soothing.
Eyes slowly looking up, you were taken back he was...tall, well toned, handsome.

For sure you thought you wouldn't find him attractive, but with those piercing green eyes you couldn't help but blush.
"Th.ank you"
"I am Hijikata Toshiro " he kisses your hand.
The other running through his silky black hair. He was hot!
"Hah your even cuter when you blush, you look outstanding in that dress" he smiles you both walk out of the garden he's still holding your hand.
" I would love for you to show me around" you took him the ramen shop that you and Naruto love.
On the way there he lavished you with compliments.
Neji didn't cross your mind once.
Arriving at the ramen shop Naruto and Hinata are there, you introduce him to them.
Naruto obviously threatens him, to your surprise he stands his ground.

Everyone knows how powerful Naruto is, so for him to not back down shows you, he is a good man.
The both of you order, with you giving him suggestions.
"(YN) after this I would like to meet more of your friends"
"Sure" he places his hand on top of yours.
"Naruto could you invite everyone over to mine for dinner please" he agrees while slurping the rest of his soup.
After the both of you finish you make your way down to the park.
You sat in silence for a while
"(YN) I'm sorry if this marriage was not your wanting" he intertwined his fingers with yours.
"At first I was angry but you seem to be a good guy" you shift closer, he pulls you in and wraps his arm around you, your head resting on his shoulder.
"My father also decided this marriage without me knowing, but you are a beautiful, intelligent woman and I'm glad we were brought together" you smiled at this.
"I think we should head back and get ready for the dinner" you walk back hand in hand.

The huge dinner was set. You sat nervously waiting for everyone to be seated.
Toshiro squeezed your hand "your more nervous than I am" he laughs "don't worry I'm sure they will like me" the maids showed all of your friends to their seats. Neji of all people sat beside you with Toshiro on the other side. The room filled with chatter.
Toshiro stood "everyone thank you for coming, I am Hijikata Toshiro, (YN) soon to be husband" the room fell silent.
You could feel Neji's eyes piercing at you, but you didn't acknowledge him.
Everyone introduce themselves to him, and the dinner continued. Neji kept stealing glances at you but you ignored him until he snaked his hand under the table placing it on your thigh. You jumped from his sudden movements. Toshiro looked at you and then continued talking to Shikamaru.
"Neji what are you doing?"
"Getting your attention now who's this guy? He can't be your husband!" He whispered
"He is, my father arranged it" you continued eating
He squeezed your thigh making you jump again now the whole table looked at you. "I'm just cold haha" coming up with a random excuse.
"Here let me warm you up" Toshiro got his jacket and placed it on your shoulders.
All the girls cooed at this, Toshiro smiled but it disappeared as he sees Neji giving him a death glare.
"I haven't introduced my self to you yet I'm Toshiro and you are?" Toshiro gave a friendly smile
"Neji" he looked Toshiro up and down.
Now you squeezed his thigh and gave a "be nice or you'll regret it" look. Neji cleared his throat "nice to meet you" he fake smiled
you notice Neji hasn't moved his hand so you decide move it yourself.
You gripped his hand and he resists. " what the hell Neji! Move your hand " you say so only he can hear
He looks at you and moves his hand to your inner thigh caressing it.
"Ahh" you gasp loudly blushing furiously, resulting in a smug look from Neji
You hide your face with your hands.
"(YN) is everything alright?" Toshiro pulls you into him and running his hands through your hair.
"I'm fine I'm still cold" hoping he doesn't catch what's really happening, unexpectedly you feel warm lips on your forehead. "I'll keep you warm" he caresses your cheek. Neji however removed his hand, he looked at Tenten and stood up abruptly and went into another room, Tenten followed shortly after.
Everyone was silent, what's Neji's problem? And of course Tenten would follow him, thats his girl after all, the sound of that made you sick. Why does he hide his relationship with her?
"Maybe you should go and check on him" Toshiro suggested you nod leaving his warm embrace.
You knocked on the door he entered. The muffling sound of their voices stopped "Neji it's (YN) I'm coming in"
Tenten opened the door before you could, her hand in his hand. Neji saw you looking and quickly removed his hand. Tenten smiled at you and exited the room.
"Neji what's gotten into you?" He looked hurt
" why now?" you were confused at his words, He cupped your face "why him?"
"Neji what are you talking about, I had no choice he will be my husband" moving his hand away from your face.
"...he's not the one"
"Neji why do you care you have Tenten"
He cupps your face once again
"Tenten is not my girlfriend (YN) she could be though" he smirks
"Argghh Neji stop playing"
"I'm serious (YN) she's not, but there is a girl I like and by the looks of it she being taken away from me.." he moves forward till your back hits the wall, there's was no way you could escape now.
You were glad that he didn't have feeling towards Tenten, but is it you that is being taken away from him?
"Nej-" he cuts you off with his lips slightly brushing against yours.
"You know...I've had a soft spot for you since the ninja academy days, now you come back to Konoah after all these years, and I finally see you at that BBQ..I couldn't help but stare, as not only did you mature in all the right places" he ran his hand freely down to your waist. Closing your eyes as he tilts his head in the crook of your neck, his warm breath tickling at your skin.
"You also took my breath away" you half open your eyes, Neji knew how to play with your emotions.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you how I felt before, seeing as your going to get married...and I know how you feel about me"
"Y.you kknow" Neji had you stuttering
He presses his lips against your skin "Ohh I know" you feel his smirk forming against your skin.
Your breathing getting heavier, only he could make you feel like this in seconds.
"Mmm" escaped your lips this was music to his ears
He captures you lips in a slow passionate kiss. His body pressed against yours, the passionate kiss deepens. With his body pressed against you, you feel that he wants more. You pull away from his lips, Neji giving you a disappointed look.
"Neji I have feelings for you but..it's too late"
He lets you go, crossing his arms "I know..I should go"
You grip his shirt before he could move giving him one finale kiss. He walks out towards the exit of the compound while head back to the dinning room.

Siting back down at the table, everyone watched you awaiting your response.
"Neji has gone home, he wasn't feeling well"
You lied.
"Did you guys argue? Your face is red" Toshiro asks
"Ahh no we just talked" placing your hand on his.
Tenten gives you a puzzled looked " I think I'll go and check on Neji, it was nice meeting you Toshiro" she gets up "(YN) " she looks at you but not as before she didn't have that cute smile, her voice was harsh. What was her problem?

After dessert was served, everyone left. You and Toshiro made your way upstairs.
"I must say, you are lucky to have friends like that" he guides you by the hand up the stairs, you smile. "I am indeed, I'm glad you got along with them"
"I did but I don't think Neji likes me very much" your eyes cascade down, if he knew what happened between you and Neji what would he think of you?
"Don't worry my love, he will get used to me" You highly doubt that, but agree with him anyways.
Entering your room Toshiro follows, you look back at him confused.
"We are not husband and wife yet" you chuckle
"I know my love, I just wanted a kiss I couldn't help my self" he snakes his arms around you holding softly. He plants his lips gently on yours, taking his time exploring your lips.
Toshiro didn't have the same effect as Neji, Neji could set your body on fire with one touch. Toshiro was more gentle, you wished it was Neji here right now.

Remembering your kiss with Neji you parted your lips allowing access to Toshiro, he pulls back for a second surprised but quickly follows.
His hands exploring your back, you wrap your arms around his neck. He unzips the back of your dress..
"I'm so sorry Toshiro I shouldn't lead you on" you back up
"No it's my fault" he tucked your hair behind your ear. " I'll see you in the morning" he kisses your cheek and closes he door behind him.
Sitting at your vanity, your face flustered.
Why couldn't he be Neji?
"Neji" you say to yourself
