Neji x reader

You and Neji arrived at your village.
Your father lead the both of you to main hall, you saw your mother running towards you, she embraced you tightly. "You have grown into a beautiful woman (YN)" she smiled squeezing your cheeks, she looked towards Neji "is this the handsome young man your father was telling me about" she greeted Neji, Neji bowed.
Later that night laying with Neji you had a change of heart
"Neji.." You cuddled looking into his eyes " I think we should stay" he kissed you lightly "you don't want to go back?" "For now no..I just need a break from there" he smiled at you "I understand...we can stay however long you want"
"Thank you" you smiled

The next day you were in the garden watering the flowers. A pair of hands wrap around your waist, his lips press softly against your neck.
"I was going to ask you anyway but since we are staying here longer than planed, I thought now would be good time with your mother here" he continues to kiss your neck. You leaned your head back on his shoulders "ask me what?" You hummed
"You know I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you(YN)" he stood in front of you now,
" I love you too " as you said that your mother and father walked in. You were a bit confused but Neji took your hand catching your attention.
"(YN)" his other hand searched his pocket
"Neji...what's going -" his lips cut you off

Neji bent down on one knee...

He plants a kiss on your hand, looking into your eyes he pulls the box from his pocket..

Your body was frozen, the one thing you could hear was the beating of your heart.

Neji smiled, he opened the box...a delicate sliver band with small diamonds engraved in it, at the centre a teardrop diamond glistening in the sunlight the soft lavender colour radiating.
It was....beautiful.
You tore your eyes away from the ring "Neji..." you were speechless
"(YN) will you..marry me" you shake your head yes, throwing your hands around him. He chuckled placing the ring on your finger.

Your parents came over congratulating you
"Are you guys going to have the wedding here or Konoah?" Your mother asks. You look at Neji " I would rather it be here...no drama" Neji agreed with you "also I just want only us to be there"
"Darling that's fine but we have dresses to pick out" your mother grabbed your hand rushing you out of the garden, leaving Neji with your father.
Going into one of the rooms there were multiple dresses you could choose from.
"Mother did you know this was going to happen?"
"Yes (YN) after your father came back from checking on you in Konoah, he told me that Neji had wanted to propose once you arrived here..." you couldn't believe that Neji had planned this.
She pointed to the dresses "as soon as your father told me I bought a few dress for you to choose"
"Thank you mother..this is amazing I can't believe I'm getting married" Your fingers ran across one of the dresses that caught your eye. (Dress is pic above)
"I want this one" your mother squeaked with excitement "that ones lovely (YN) I also have everything sorted for the wedding, tomorrow" you raised an eyebrow "tomorrow?" "Yes tomorrow" she laughed "enjoy your day and leave the planing to me" you thanked her and went up to your room

Sitting on your chair, remembering your first kiss with Neji..it was like nothing you had experienced before and now here you are marrying the man you love.
The sparkling of the ring caught your attention, filling your heart with joy.

The door opens, Neji walks in "every time I look at you I feel like I'm falling in love again" his warm words caused your cheeks to turn pink.
"Neji you always know how to make me blush" you walked over to the bed as he sat down.
You straddled his lap his hands on both sides of your hips. "I know how to make you do more than that..." he kisses you, hands traveling along your body "on our wedding night I'll make sure you don't forget" you smiled at his words...

Wedding day
You admired yourself in the mirror "(YN) you look beautiful.."your mother placed her hands on your shoulders
"Thank you mother" she opened the door and your father greeted you, he took your arm and lead you down the aisle.

It was only your mother and a few maids seated but this was your special day as long as your with Neji nothing else matters.
You were now standing in front of Neji, he whispers "I love you" and placing the ring on your finger.
You kissed him sweetly.
He picked you up bridal style. In your bedroom he placed you on the bed, he looked at the ring on your finger "this is the ring my father gave my mother..." he hovered over you kissing your neck
"(YN) I'm so glad I met you" he bit your neck slightly "I love you" you moaned into his ear, you can feel him smile into your neck. His hand slips underneath your back, pulling the zip on your dress, you let the dress slip right off, Neji's fingers trace over your body followed by small kisses.
Your hand reaches for his chin, pulling his face back to yours, your lips meet his open slightly allowing you to explore with your tongue. Lips still connected you push him down on the bed, straddling him. He unbuttons his shirt taking it off, you take the rest off..
"tonight will be a night I won't forget?..wanna prove that to me" you smirked at him "gladly.." he responded kissing your lips.

It had been 2 years since that night, you and Neji were still living in your village, you hadn't visited Konoah.

"Neji!!!!!" You came rushing into your room, he looked up from the book he was reading "Yes"
Your face was beaming with excitement "guess what! I got a letter right..." you walked over to him
"It was from Hinata and..." you were jumping with joy. Neji chuckled at your behaviour "and....?"
You took a deep breath "she's...pregnant!!" You screamed. Neji dropped his book "Hinata..my cousin?" "Yes! She's going to be a mum!"
"We must leave for Konoah immediately!!" Neji smiled
It was a days travel, at Konoah gates you both made your way to the Hyūga compound.
You slid open the door to the eating area, you saw Hinata siting with Naruto smiling, it warmed your heart. "Hinata..." you said softly, Neji standing behind you. Naruto and and Hinata both looked in your direction their eyes wide. "(YN)..when did you get here?" Naruto asked hugging you. "As soon as the letter arrived we came here straight away.." your eyes watered, Hinata came over to you she was tearing up as well, it had been soo long since you had seen her, it had been too long. "I've missed you (YN)" she hugged you, both crying "congratulations Hinata..Naruto" Neji congratulated them as well.
"Everyone will be excited to see you both, we should have a small gathering" Hinata put a hand on her small baby bump. 

Later that day you sat on Hinata's bed, Neji and Naruto had gone out with the rest of the guys.
"I'll be moving out soon..Naruto's bought a house" Hinata smiled sweetly.
"Wow..things have really changed" you rubbed her belly, giggling.
"Just wait till you see everyone.." she laughed
"(YN)..I'm still upset I wasn't invited to your wedding" she folded her arms
"I'm sorry Hinata..you were on your honeymoon..I was stressed because of events that had happened before that" events that you tried to forget.
"I understand (YN) and I'm sorry you had to go through that" she hugged you.
"I'm passed that now..how is she doing?"
"Tenten..I think it's best you see her instead of me telling you"
"Alright.."
