Jimin and I stayed out til' all the stars came out and Lotte World closed. My feet felt like I'd been walking on gravel all day, and I groaned. "I'm tired, Jimin-ah.." I mumbled.

"Shh, I have one more place to show you." He had his hands in his pockets as he slouched his back. I could tell he was tired, it must've meant a lot for him to show me. We hopped into his car and he yawned. He pulled out of the parking lot and drove through downtown Seoul. All the lights were so pretty at night, the tall buildings and signs. It pleased my aesthetic.

I traced squiggles in the fogged up window, drawing smiley faces. I slumped myself in the passenger's seat. "Jimin, you better tell me where we're going, after all you are the one keeping me out so late." He tapped on the steering wheel, shaking his head. I read the clock on the radio, it was 12:17 a.m. We finally pulled into a deserted parking lot, I looked up and studied the destination. "Where are we..."

"Come on, I want you to see something." He took the keys out of the ignition and hopped out of the car, I followed him. We walked for a while in the quiet, I could hear grasshoppers chirp and the subtle breeze that flowed through the trees. If I looked up, I could see the moon in all it's wonderful glory while the stars surrounded it's majesty. It was like the moon was the singer and the stars were it's audience, cheering it on. It was dark out, but the warm wind made me feel safe, it welcomed me as if I were coming home or something. Jimin stopped walking and he crouched down beside a tree, his eyes lighting up with joy like he was a little kid who had just stepped into a candy store.

I furrowed my eyebrows, confused. "What is it?" I knelt down beside him before cursing quietly, the wet grass staining my jeans. Oh well. I thought.

"Look..." Jimin pointed, smiling softly. I glanced up, noticing a swarm of beautiful fireflies. They danced together, buzzing as their little lights drew lines in the dark, flying about. I giggled softly, fascinated. They were so beautiful at night.

"But.. I thought there weren't any fireflies here." I watched them, holding my hand on Jimin's shoulder. I felt him tense as I leaned closer to look at him.

He laughed softly, "That's what everyone thinks. They only come out late at night, that's why we stayed so long at Lotte World." Jimin smiled. "Come on." He grabbed my hand gently and pulled me up, leading me to the fireflies.

"Wait, won't they fly away..." I muttered, curious. Jimin shook his head, stopping, we stood in the middle of the swarm and the fireflies buzzed around us. I giggled quietly, reaching out to touch them. I caught one, bringing my cupped hands up to my face so I could peek into a crack to see it. The firefly buzzed and it's light flickered before I let it go. Jimin started to hum softly, the buzzing of the lovely fireflies creating a soft, slow rhythm. My cheeks started to turn red, this kind of stuff only happens in the movies.

"They're beautiful aren't they?" He hummed, letting one land on his index finger. I nodded, trying to lean over to get a closer look before I stumbled on a twig, making me lose my footing and fall into him. He flinched, quickly placing his hands on my hips to help me steady myself. My ears lit up red almost as much as the fireflies did green. I frantically looked up, his cheeks were red. Jimin cleared his throat and he looked away, his hands not moving.

"Uh.." I wiped my mouth, thinking of an idea. "Here." I placed my hands on his shoulders, shuffling my feet a little. "Hum a song." I smiled. Jimin looked at me funny, "I'm serious. Go." I laughed.

He hummed quietly, his voice sounded nice, I used to hate it. We moved softly to the beat of the fireflies. It's weird though, because it's like he completely forgot how to dance right then and there. He kept stepping on my toes by accident, "Ah, sorry.." He mumbled. I smiled, he kept looking away from me. I got the vibe that he was uncomfortable, so I frowned and let go of his shoulders. Jimin smiled softly, looking down at me.
