Later that night...
I smiled, it was getting colder and colder outside. We'd finished eating, and now we were just walking around together. I read my watch, it was eight thirty four. "Thank you, Jimin."
"Uh huh." He nodded, holding his hands in his coat pocket. Jimin sighed and he looked over at me, his gaze lingering. I swept my bangs behind my ears, oblivious. "You know you're beautiful, right?"
My face flustered and my eyes darted up at him, "W-why do you say that?" I murmured. He shrugged his shoulders, running a hand through his brown hair. I glanced down at my blue purse, holding it in front of my hips as we stepped in unison.
"I just thought you needed to hear that." Jimin said, his voice was soft and sweet. It's like the way he said or did things filled my senses, making me happy. "Ah, I'm full, you?"
"Yeah." I mumbled, smiling weakly, "I'm tired, too."
"Same." There was an awkward pause as we walked home, or back to his house. It was nice though, the way the leaves of the trees rustled as the wind blew and the crickets chirped calmed me down. I watched my breath fog up the cold night air, and every couple of minutes I yawned. Jimin finally broke the silence, "Guess what."
"Hm?" I looked up at him questioningly.
"Your favorite movie is on Netflix now..." He chuckled, when we were at Lotte World we discussed our favorite things, "And since you don't have that, I was wondering if you wanted to watch it with me..." He mumbled, his voice sounding nervous. My cheeks turned pink again.
"Oh, ahm." I watched my feet, "Sure, Jimin-ah. I'd like that." I smiled up at him, watching his lips curve into a beaming smile. Sooner or later, we reached his house, and Jimin cleared his throat as he opened the door for me. "Thanks."
"Ya." Jimin shut the door and he took off his coat, hanging it up. I unzipped his sweater, going to pull it off my shoulders before I felt him take it off for me. I glanced over my shoulder at him, watching him put it away. "You wanna get the blankets? I can make popcorn." Jimin gave me an eye smile, brushing past me to get into the kitchen.
I nodded, heading towards the closet that contained the pillows and blankets. Weird how I remembered where they were. I got down two blankets and some pillows before setting them on his blue sectional couch, making it cozy. I felt weird, most normal friends don't do this.
The microwave beeped and Jimin poured the popcorn into a bowl. "Ah, I'll be back, I'm gonna change." I nodded, tucking my hair behind my ears. I grabbed the popcorn out from the kitchen and sat in front of the T.V. on the couch, stealing a couple of bites because let's be real, I'm fat. "Aish, don't eat it all." Jimin plopped down beside me, scaring the crap out of me. I almost had a heart attack.
"Oh fuck. You scared me." I jumped, my heart racing.
"Don't curse. It doesn't suit you." Jimin raised his eyebrows, reaching over me to grab the remote. He'd changed into pajamas. The movie we were watching was The Conjuring. It was my favorite movie, even though I get scared so easily. Scary movies are awesome.
"Okay, mom." I smiled, punching him playfully. Jimin ate some popcorn before turning the T.V. on.
"I won't be able to sleep tonight." He mumbled as he selected the movie. I pouted softly, my hand grazing his.
"I'll hold your hand." I said in a mock tone, mocking what he told me at Lotte World. Jimin shook his head and took his hand away, cursing inaudibly. I could barely hold in my excitement as the movie began, stuffing my face with popcorn.
