Chapter 8

Pegasus

Daniel wakes up in a park, next to Rose. In the distance, they hear the sound of metal colliding. Rose sits up and looks at Daniel. "You look good." She says, acknowledging Daniel's clothes. Daniel was wearing a gray shirt, with a long blue jacket, brown jeans, red shoes, and a blue headband. He also had a belt holding the same stuff Rose's held. Rose clicked a button on the side of one of the holders on her belt. Her Beyblade shot into the air, she grabs it. Daniel now notices what she's wearing. She's has a gray shirt, a red jacket, red jeans, and black shoes. Her hair is held up with a headband that has the symbol for her bey, Storm Aquario on it. Daniel feels for a holder like the one on Rose's. He finds it and presses the button on the side. A Beyblade shoots into the air, and lands on the ground. They both get up to look at Daniel's new Beyblade. It was blue, with some yellow bumps. There were two lightning next to a symbol of a horse's face with some red around it. "Cool!" Rose says, "You have Storm Pegasus 105RF!" Daniel picks up his bey and puts it back where it was earlier. He grabs the launcher and asks, "So, this is the launcher?" Rose nods. Daniel clicks the button, sending Pegasus into the air, Daniel catches it and puts it on the launcher. Daniel grabs the ripcord, and yanks it, sending it flying at a rock. The force was so powerful, that it smashed the rock. Rose stares at Daniel, shocked. "You've only been with that bey for a day," she says to Daniel, "and you've done that!?" Daniel watches as Pegasus spins in the dirt where the rock once was. Suddenly, his bey dashes to him somehow jump off the ground and lands in his hand. Daniel looks at it for a while. "What the heck is going on?" He thinks as a man with spiked up red hair, which he kept that way with the blue headband he wore walked up. He was wearing a black shirt, a small blue, white, and yellow jacket, black pants, red shoes, and a ripped up white scarf that showed his experience. He too wore a belt holding his own bey. Rose looked at the man. The man smiled and said, "Hello again Rose." Daniel tilted his head in confusion. Rose notices this and tells Daniel, "This is Gingka Hagane, one of the world's strongest bladers." Daniel looks at Rose and replies with, "What is he, a rollerskater?" Rose punches him in the arm, but it doesn't hurt. Gingka laughs.

"So, you have a Pegasus?"

"Yeah, my name's Daniel."

"Good to know."

"What's your Beyblade?"

"Samurai Pegasus," Gingka replied, tapping the button on the holder so he could show them his bey. It was mainly silver, with purple, blue, and red in certain areas. There was a symbol like the one on Daniel's on the bey, except it was slightly different. "I'm still confused about this world." Daniel thought. Gingka looked at Daniel and said, "Sadly, this isn't the time that I'm from." Daniel looked confused. Rose turns and tells him, "He's practically gone back in time." Daniel still looked confused, so Gingka and Rose stop trying to explain. Suddenly the sky goes dark. They look and see a tower rise from nowhere. "This didn't happen, what going on?" Gingka said surprised. They all run to the tower. It was thirty stories high, and at the top they see three purple dragon entities flying around. "Oh no!" Rose said looking pale, "Lightning L Drago's back?" Gingka turns to look at Rose and nods. "I don't know how." He replies, "I thought I beat Ryuga." Suddenly they hear a loud voice. At first, it's speaking in a weird another language, then they hear it clearly, "I am not Ryuga," The voice roars, " I am not even from this world." Suddenly a Beyblade is fired from the top, smashing into Gingka. As the bey spins, Daniel recognizes it. "Black Sun Pegasus?" he questions, "I thought they had L Drago?" Then Daniel realizes something. There wasn't only one person, they somehow were able to have Shadow N with them. Suddenly everything starts to spin for Daniel. When it stops, he's at the top of the tower.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Dan to the fight, first he will fight Shadow N, then Rose, then me." A voice said. Daniel recognized this voice. "It can't be, Jake?" Suddenly, Shadow N appears on the other side. Shadow N readies his launcher, Daniel does the same. Suddenly, they hear multiple voices yell, "3, 2, 1, Let it, rip!" Daniel and Shadow N pull the ripcord. Their beys immediately collide. Daniel's Pegasus is sent flying, but surprisingly to Daniel, it just gets back in the stadium on its own. Storm Pegasus charges towards Black Sun Pegasus. When they collide, Storm Pegasus is sent flying again, but the same thing happens. Daniel hears Gingka's voice. "You have to tell Pegasus what you need from it!" Gingka yells from a building. Daniel looks at his Pegasus. It was surprisingly able to move on its own, yet it still needed him to help. "Pegasus, go up the side of the stadium as fast as you can!" Daniel yells. Pegasus does, sending it flying into the air, and beyond the clouds. "Pegasus is out of the stadium, but he hasn't been knocked out so, let the battle continue!" A voice says. Suddenly, the dark sky lights up. They hear a horse's neigh then see a Pegasus soaring down towards Black Sun Pegasus. "Pegasus! Star Wing Blast!" Daniel yelled. The Pegasus starts to go faster. Suddenly Shadow N yells, "Pegasus! Chaos Super Nova!" In an instant, the ground begins to shake. Parts of the stadium start getting ripped out of the stadium. The pieces start getting a black substance on them. A Dark Pegasus starts to fly out of nowhere, into the middle of the pieces. The pieces begin to form around it, they are shot at Storm Pegasus. Every time that happens, five seconds later, the pieces would blow up, but luckily, Storm Pegasus dodges each one. Then, the Dark Pegasus shoots up at the White one. They collide, the Pegasus disappear to reveal the Beyblades again. The beys stop spinning almost instantly and fall down to the stadium. When they both hit the ground the voice says, "Daniel wins with a one-point survivor finish." Shadow N disappears as Daniel gets his bey again. Suddenly, Rose appears, standing where Shadow N was. They both launch their Beyblades and watch the battle commence. After almost an hour, Daniel is victorious. Rose was then teleported to the stands to watch the final battle, but it doesn't happen. They hear an elevator. Suddenly, the Beystadium turns into a flat surface. The elevator appears, and Daniel's old friend Jake walks out.

"Jake! It's actually you?"

"You've gone this far Daniel, but it ends here."

"Jake? What have they done to you?!?"

"Nothing, I'm better than ever, now that I've learned the error of my ways," Jake replies.

Daniel suddenly realizes that Jake's normally blue eyes were now a glowing purple. Daniel steps back, only to remember that he's thirty stories high. Daniel looks at Jake, and see the three purple dragons appear again. "I have been given the power to destroy you!" Jake yells, "Using the power given to me, besides L Drago, you shall perish." Daniel, without knowing, reaches back for his sword, it's there. He pulls it out, only to watch a purple glow surround Jake. When the glow disappears, Jake is wearing armor and carrying a sword with a dragon sculpted onto the blade. "Witness the true power I have!" Jake yells. Almost instantly, Jake appears in front of Daniel. Their swords clash.

"I don't want to hurt you, Jake!"

"Funny, I do!" Jake replies as he attempts to knock the sword out of Daniel's hands. Daniel dodges and uses to hilt of the blade to knock the wind out of Jake. Jake collapses, only to reappear behind Daniel. Jake pushes Daniel closer to the edge and then knocks the sword out of his hands. Daniel watches helplessly as the sword falls from the thirty stories. He turns around to see Jake holding his sword to Daniel's neck. "Like I said, I have been given the power to destroy you!" Jake says. Before Jake pulls back, Daniel's vision goes black. He can't see anything, but he hears Jake scream, followed by silence. When Daniel's vision returns, he's on the ground, his sword at his side, the tower is gone. He looks and sees Rose, her clothes ripped up a bit. Another portal appears, and they both go to it.

"Hey, Rose?"

"If you're gonna ask what happened, don't."

"Ok, let's hope the others are ok."

"Yeah," Rose replies.
