Part 7 : Tête-à-tête

After the event, a dinner party is arranged for the cast and crew of BB. They have a scrumptious meal and return to their hotel. The team relax at the lounge and chit-chat. Early birds SSR and Shobu garu set off to hit the sack. D,S and R continue chatting. After a while R gets a call and he excuses himself from the couple, bids them goodnight and leaves to his room.

D: So ?

S: So ?

D: You want to sleep ?

S: I don't feel sleepy. You ?

D: No. Let's talk for some more time then.

S: Fine but not here, let's go somewhere else.

D: Hmm near the pool ?

S: Ok.

They walk outside to the pool. It is very calm and breezy. DS happen to be the only two souls around there at that time.They relax on a couch and S enjoys the picturesque view.

S: Wow...the tall buildings and lightings... it's so beautiful na Pabsu ( looking at the view )

D: Yes, very beautiful ( looking at her)

Smiling coyly she starts to remove some pins from her blouse.

D: What are you doing bangaram ?

S: Here, hold this.

She passes him the pins as she takes it off one by one finally pulls out her thaali/mangalsutra letting it rest freely on her chest.

S: Phew ! It took me half an hour to secure this inside with all pins. The pins were causing discomfort finally got them off.

She sighs in relief taking back the pins from his hand.

D: Why do you have to struggle so much bangaram ?? You can remove it and keep. I don't have such sentiments you do know that.

S: Hmm you don't but I do. I am a traditional indian woman this has to always be around my neck unless I have a shoot which requires me to expose my neck I don't remove it.

He stares at his wife in wonder. This woman never failed to amaze him.So beautiful, smart, talented, successful yet nothing had gone to her head she remained simple like any another woman and he was the fortunate man to have this gem as his life partner.

D: Can I hold your hand ?

S forwards her hand, he clasps it and kisses the back of her palm placing it on his left chest. S moves closer to him coiling her other arm around his arm and resting her head on his shoulder. He leans his head on hers.

D: Bangaram..

S: What bava..

D: Are you happy ?

S: Yes ! No more long schedule shootings and trainings. No more big promotions. You too don't have to undergo stress. We can relax a bit and have time for ourselves.
