Part 8 : The night is young

After sometime,

S: It is getting cold here I think we should go to our rooms.

D: Ok come.

While walking to the lift, in the lift, upon reaching their floor they never let go of their hands.

Once they step out of the lift, D looks around and sees no one.

S: What are you looking for ?

S also turns her head around.

D: Look there !

He points.

She looks at the direction of his finger. All of a sudden, D scoops her in his arms.

S: Aiyooo Pabsu what is this ? Put me down!!

D: Yes I will but not here, in your room on the bed.

He starts walking. Shy S hides her face in her palms.

S: Oh no what if someone sees us... our photos will become viral pls put me down no..

D: It is late no one will come even if they do they'll think it's some romantic couple and move away by the time they realize it is us, we would have disappeared. Cool bangaram.

Fortunately for them not even a single soul is to be seen.

They reach S's room. She takes the card and taps it on the sensor. Door opens and they go in.

They see a 'Kunthala' themed welcome basket on her bed. D places her gently on the bed and sits opposite her. S sees a note attached to the basket :-

It is an honour to have you in our hotel.Please feel free to help yourself to anything in this basket.Have a pleasant stay!

She goes to check the contents inside. There is a pouch of bath and body products, a box of top-notch assorted chocolates, a water bottle and white bath towel with lotus embroidery tied with a pink ribbon and a pretty bouquet of fresh lotus buds. Below she finds a small box with a tag attached that read : Devasena - Queen of Kunthala Rajyam

S is so excited and she opens the box to find a figurine of 'Devasena' in pindari fight costume ready to shoot 3 arrows.

S: Aaawww...This is so cute pabsu!!!!!!

She feels a chocolate popped into her mouth and munching it she looks up to see D busy chomping on the chocolates while tearing apart the plastic wrappers around the stuff as if a kid unwrapping his birthday gifts. He takes the pouch and looks at the beauty products. Sniffing a bottle,

D: Ooowack...Entidi karma ? Why does it stink so badly ? How do they expect you to use these pesticides ?? If you bathe using these stuffs I won't feel like coming to you. Don't they have hamam or pears bar soap? I'll have a word with the manager tomorrow. How dare they give these to my bangaram !!

S chuckles and looks at him who had chocolate on his lips like 'makhan chor' lord Krishna had butter all over his mouth. She wipes the melted chocolate off with her thumb and licks it. She takes the bottle from him and reads the name.

S: Peppermint & Rosemary. Pabsu, these are exotic products. They are used to stimulate our senses.If you use this you will feel relaxed and get good sleep.

D: Sleep ah ??? You don't need these then.

He grabs the bottle from her hand before she smells it and puts it back in the pouch.
