Leliana walked back in forth in the tent where she worked, she was mad but then again didn't she have a right to be? The maker kept taking from her and leaving her with nothing, it wasn't fair she felt helpless and that is never a welcome feeling. Leliana got on her knees and started praying.. well more like questioning the maker asking why he would let Justinia die she was his most faithful and he let her die, and what he wanted from us for by now it was surely blood that he wanted because the world was coated in it. No innocent was left with out a scar mental or physical. Just then the "Herald of andraste" walked in or as he begged her to call him "Aaron". so she then turned to him and questioned him about what the maker wanted but that was when she noticed his normal cheerful smile faded and when he finally spoke it was only above a whisper " I wish I knew by the maker I do" her anger faded when she realized 'How many times must he have heard people begging him for answers he didn't have' but what really shocked her was that he got on his knees beside her and looked at her and asked " do you think maybe the maker did save Justinia? maybe she was being used for her life and when he let her come by his side he saved her? that's what I like to think anyway" she looked into his eyes and saw hope, hope was in limited supply thees days and she knew better than to ruin it so she just nodded and there they sat together in a silent prayer

Orlesian wine?! she started laughing when she saw his familiar goofy smile " where did you get that Aaron?" she asked truly confused. he spoke as he handed her a glass which she accepted " now leliana I must have some secrets that stay secrets" he winked at the end of his sentence and as she muffled her giggle with a sip they heard the deafening sound of the a horn. they both looked at the horizon and saw a giant force of troops and they both with our a second thought jumped from the roof and started racing towards the front gate where Cullen was rallying troops. soon she was giving task to get people to the chantry and she looked back to see Aaron who was yelling " SAVE AS MANY AS YOU CAN DON'T WORRY ABOUT THE TREBUCHET I'LL DEAL WITH THAT!" after saving as many as they could leliana was shooting the Red Templar's as she could she saw Aaron and his small group running to the chantry as fast as they could but and she help clear a path for them and they closed the chantry door. screams of agony and pain filled the air the smell of blood and fire was what filled their lungs. Chancellor Rodrick had been stabbed and he was slowly dying Aaron and the dying chancellor were having a conversation when Aaron stood up and looked at Cullen and started asking him something but then he started walking towards the door and she went to follow him when Cassandra stopped her and said "hes going alone while we escape" Leliana's heart dropped when she heard this she tore herself from Cassandra's hold and started running towards him "He heard her cry and turned to her holding his arms open. she held him like her life depended on it he held her just as tight for a minute until they heard a huge thump outside. The dragon had landed, she begged him not to go but he told her one simple thing " if it saves all of thees people Then I will sacrifice myself for them all" she was sad she was mad she was hurt " what about me why would you leave me?" she asked but she knew it was unfair to ask him that cause she saw the pain in his eyes when he answer " if I had a choice leli I wouldn't leave" the felt iron bull start pulling off him she screamed as she was torn from him and she watched him mouth something nobody but her could see " I love you"

" Any last words" the monster spat " Yes but they wont be said today!" Aaron yelled as he hit the trebuchet with a fallen soldiers sword and jumped into a under ground tunnel whiles haven was covered by a mountain, knowing at least leliana is safe.
