"A needle?" Dawn asked.
"A saguaro cactus!" Lillith declared.
"Yes!" Charley pumped his fists in the air, racking up another point for his team.
"Hey, no powers allowed!" Bette pouted.
"I didn't!" Lillith blushed as red as her hair.
"It's fine. You're great at reading people anyway," Kiran assured the empath.
"Okay, okay, I'm sorry," Bette apologized with a small smile. She patted Kiran soundly on the back, "Now come on, Kir, it's your turn and we gotta beat them!"
Kiran and her teammates laughed at Bette's usual impatience and drew a piece of paper from the bowl. Before she could begin her charade, the door to the sitting room-slash-main ops opened with a whoosh, and Donna paraded in with a smile, her armored boots clacking as she walked off the carpet and over to the computer.
"Hey Donna!" Dawn waved.
"Do you have a mission for us?" Hank leaped off the couch and dashed to the computer.
"Somewhat," Donna said smugly.
"What's that mean?" Charley asked. Team bonding forgotten, everyone crowded around the computer.
"We've talked about the Light before, right?" Donna asked. She pulled up seven files, each labeled with the name and photo of a Class-A villain, as Bette had categorized them.
"Yes," Kiran nodded confidently. She had only been on the Titans for a month or two, but she'd spent the downtime of those months reading every file that she could get her hands on. Her powers we still not controlled to the best of her ability, and she wanted to prepare herself for whatever she encountered in the field.
"You're a fast learner, aren't you?" Donna grinned, pulling up Bette's files on several members of the Light.
"Yup," Kiran nodded again, grinning bashfully.
Bette slung her arm around Kiran's shoulders.
"Now, we know that Queen Bee is still in Bialya. Luthor can never keep himself out of the public eye, and The Brain is always moving to a new project. Ra's is always moving the Shadow's base, but our latest Intel places him and Savage hiding somewhere in the Mongolian mountains."
"What about Ocean Master?" Charley asked.
Donna grinned, "After we discovered that he was really Aquaman's brother, he's been arrested and imprisoned in Atlantis. The Light's going to be looking for a new person to take a seat at their table, but the team's handling that."
Donna pressed another button, and the profiles of the six villains disappeared, replaced by a single photo of a lithe young-looking man in a black suit with his dark hair styled in the shape of two horns, one on either side of his head. An orange tabby cat was draped over his shoulders, and in his hands he held a red mana-like substance.
"Klarion the Witch boy. A Lord of Chaos thousands of years old with the demanding metality of a two-year-old."
"You want us to take down a Lord of Chaos!?" Hank shouted, "You're insane!"
"Calm down, Hawk," Troia warned, "We're not going to take him down. Not yet, anyway. He's the most elusive of all the members of the Light. The only one who really knows what he is or what he could be up to is Doctor Fate, but Fate doesn't share anything," Donna scrunched up her face unpleasantly.
"We're going to figure out what his angle is in the Light, get to know his weaknesses-"
"And then take him down?" Bette pounded her fist into the palm of her other hand.
