The summer of memories

Saying Goodbye is the hardest part...

Hayes's Pov:

I didn't fall asleep. My alarm went off. I grab my backpack. I throw Alex's pills in there and her glasses. I grab our phones and chargers and throw them in there too. I grab my beanie and put it on too.

I find a hair tie for Alex and sit her up. She took some meds to make her fall asleep, so she was out. Nash holds her up while I throw her hair up into a messy bun for her. She was warm. I ask the guys to head down I would be there soon.

Before they head down I grab a t-shirt out of my bag and then they head down. Carefully I take the hoodie off of Alex. She had a tank top on under neath. I put the shirt over her head. Then I slide her tank off of her. Then I put her arms through the shirt.

I grab my beats and hers too and put them in the bag also. I put the hoodie she had on in the bag in case she got cold along with her tank top. Then I throw the backpack on my back. I put Alex's flip flops on for her. Then I pick her up and we head down to the lobby.

The guys were there waiting. Nash says "Alright guys lets go. Were going to be late and miss the flight. Hayes you have to manage to wake her up for at least an hour. We can't carry her through security." I nod.

We get in the limo and head to the airport.

We get there and I say to Alex "Hey you got to wake up long enough to get through the airport." She nods. She opens her eyes a little. She says "Hayes I am cold, where's my glasses I can't see?" I grab her north face out of her bag. Then I get her glasses out of my bag and clean them off then hand them to her. She puts them on and takes her hair out.

She runs her fingers through it and throws it back up into a low bun. She sighs and I could see her eyes falling. She was so tired.I nudge her and say "Wait another 30 minutes then you can sleep the rest of the way." She smiles and we reach the airport.

We get out and head in.

People were starring at us. Probably because were the Magcon group and were in our pj's.

It was that time again. We had to say good bye to everyone. It was going to be hard. We wouldn't see them till at least next month. But if we have another meet and great soon. Nash hugs Cameron and says "See you next weekend bro. We will miss you." Cameron smiles and says "Yes you will. Were going to be in L.A. Baby!"

All the guys hug. Then we wait to see who's flights get called. Alex and me sit down and wait.

"Flight 120 to Virginia please line up, your flight will now be boarding." That was Matt. He drops his head and hugs everyone. He comes over to Alex and says "Hey don't think of doing that ever again. Hope to see you in L.A. next weekend. Love you guys. Be safe." Then he walks away to board his flight.

"Flight 121 to California, your flight is now boarding." That was Cameron and Mahogany. Nash and Cameron hug and say there good bye. It was really sad. They are bros. Cameron comes over and says to Alex "Hey girl. You be safe. Alright if you need anything let Hayes know. He will take good care of you. I know it. Love you guys." Then he was gone.

10 minutes later....

"Flight 122 to Toronto Canada your flight is now boarding." That was Shawn. He won't get home till almost daylight. We say our good byes and he says to me "You take good care of her and make sure she doesn't do that ever again. Love you guys, see you next weekend." Then he was gone.

2 minutes later...

"Flight 123 to Omaha Nebraska your flight is now boarding." That was the Jack's. They say there good byes again like the others. Then they head out.

20 minutes later...

"Flight 124 to Knoxville Tennessee your flight is now boarding." That was Jacob Whitesides. We didn't really have anything to say to him after what he did to Alex. He just says good bye and leaves.

Then the only one left was Taylor. He was making us laugh and Alex was going to sleep. She was snuggled up next to me with her head on my shoulder. Then all of a sudden we hear...

"Flight 125 your flight is now boarding." That was Taylor''s flight. He says his goodbyes and comes over to Alex. I nudge her and she opens her eyes and smiles at Taylor. Taylor and Alex became close friends during this tour. I was happy for her. But I wasn't jealous. He says "Hey Lex, Hayes has my number if you need anything. Do me a favor please think about what we all told you before you do that again. Promise me please Lex?" She sits up and says "I promise you Taylor. Thank you for everything you did for me during this tour. I really appreciate it. Can you text Hayes or Nash when you get home so we know your safe?" He nods.

Taylor hugs Alex and then he leaves. It was Nash, Alex, and me that was left with our boss. He says "Hayes our next tour is in L.A. I would like it if you kept her at home for that tour? If you don't mind?" I was blown away that he just said that in her presents. Nash says "Dude who do you think you are. Your not his mother. And if your gonna try to keep the love of his life away from him then your not welcomed at the next Magcon. Meaning your fired."

He was shocked. But Nash did it for our own good. I was glad. We had a person in line already to take his spot. Personally I liked him better then the other dude. The we hear...

"Flight 126 to North Carolina your flight is now boarding." That was us. The time was 12:00am. Perfect timing. We get up and head to our gate.

Alex was half asleep half awake. It was funny.

When we get to the gate and we board the fligt. This plane had 3 seats per row. So we all sat together. Nash got the window seat. Alex sat in the middle and I was on the outside.

She hands me her glasses and I hand her a blanket. She covers herself up and sets her head on my shoulder. She was out. She forgot to buckle her seat belt. I carefully pull the blanket back and do her seat belt. She moves and accidentally hits him in the chest. It was funny. She curls up and pulls her legs to her chest, and her head on my shoulder.
