There were little to no people that Nichole didn't like in her life. She had no reason to have drama as she was only a low profile photographer. Then, when Nichole got a call from Gucci, she had to accept it. She just had to accept it and just three months in that's when she met Taehyung. Taehyung was the most popular male model out and was known for dating many models.
Nichole really wanted to like Taehyung, she tried. It was just the way that he carried himself that made her disgusted. The way he expected things for himself and the way that he looked at everyone as if he was better than everyone. Shit, he might be beautiful but did Taehyung have to look at everyone like they were below him?
"I was thinking about you doing another pose, Taehyung," Nichole commented from behind the camera causing him to groan.
"It's already midnight," Taehyung complained as he moved away from the camera, "I'm trying, cute one." That was another thing that Nichole hated, he flirted with her. Taehyung flirted with her constantly as if she was going to pounce on him like any of his past lovers.
Nichole sighed before resting the camera on the table behind her, "Can you be considerate for once? Cooperate with me so we can both go home. I'm tired and I know what I'm doing."
"I would hope so, cute one." Taehyung winked as he got behind the camera causing her cheeks to heat up, unintentionally. "Wait, the grump is flustered?!"
"Kim Taehyung, I would leave you here with no damn pictures." Finally, Taehyung took Nichole seriously. It took another hour for the pictures to come out the way that they both liked.
The next morning after that was hell for Nichole, she kept waking up in the middle of the night. It first started at two twenty-six in the morning when Nichole broke out in cold sweat. It wasn't a nightmare or anything, she just kept waking up. Each and every time she tried to go back to sleep, she'd wake up an hour late. Imagine going to work like that, Nichole had to. When Nichole entered work, her face was stone cold.
It wasn't like she talked to anyone at work anyways. Nichole sat at the back of the headquarters as she played with her camera. This was a time where she felt low and the other staff around her, conversing made her feel worst. She wondered why she didn't just call out sick because this isn't something she's used to. Nichole isn't used to feeling low all the time or not having anyone to speak with it. She was still adjusting to her life-changing.
"Cute one," Nichole's head shot up at the annoying nickname and she glared at Taehyung, coldly, "woah, someone's not on the mood."
"I'm not, so I advise you not to piss me off."
"Well damn," Taehyung sucked in his breath, "is it really that deep?" His body was leaning against the door frame as a cocky smile was etched on his face. Nothing angered Nichole more that moment then seeing him taking her for a joke. "Anyways we need to shoot right now, I have plans in about an hour."
Nichole checked the time on her phone, they weren't even scheduled to shoot until an hour. Now her blood was boiling, who was he to go against the schedule for his personal wants?
"What time are we supposed to be shooting today, Taehyung?" Nichole asked calmly as she placed her camera on her lap.
"I don't know," he retorted nonchalantly as he threw his back, "aren't you supposed to be in charge of knowing times?"
"When the hell was I known for being Kim Taehyung's timekeeper? Goodness, when will you learn some fucking respect?"
Taehyung felt bad for laughing in her face when he noticed how enraged she got. Nichole was now in front of his face with her finger against his chest. "You're an entitled spoiled brat, I'll tell you that. You expect me to get up off my ass to take pictures of you? Pictures of that same weak smile and basic posing?!"
"Belle!" She heard her boss shout out but she didn't care, Nichole was angry. Way too angry for this.
"You don't get to take your anger out on me," Taehyung stared right back in her eyes, "you should've just called out."
"Well, I'm sorry," Nichole finally stepped back a bit, "I'm not arrogant like you are. I don't get to miss work because of me not feeling like myself. I have bills to pay, I wouldn't take my anger out on you if you weren't a prick."
"A prick?" He snorted as he waved her off. "I'm sorry boss, but please assign me a new photographer because whoever she is-"
"- whoever I am?!" Nichole shouted with her arms stuck to her sides because who knows what she would've done. "You know what I don't need to photograph you at all, fuck you!"
"Boss, suspend her. It's either me or her, how dare someone talk to me like that?" Taehyung shouted back, louder than her. Now everyone around was watching them and it was insane how angry Nichole was. "All you are is a damn woman who just takes photos of people. That's probably all you'll ever be in your life, know your place." Taehyung expected her to at least cry or stomp her feet, but he didn't expect to get smacked across his face. He was lucky that's all she did because after the smack she was going to continue swinging until she felt herself getting dragged away.
Nichole was now sobbing and her boss was upset, he didn't want to do what he was going to do but he had to. All Nichole showed that day was thin skin and unnecessary fights. "Chester, what the hell were you thinking?"
"Did you hear what he said to me?!" Nichole exhaled as she felt a tear fall down her eye. "Why did you have to hire him as a new face for the-"
"- you call him a brat but look at you!" Nichole's eyes widened when she noticed that his pale skin was now cherry red. This was the angriest she ever saw him and she worked for a year now. "Who do you think you are to demand orders? Taehyung is not going anywhere, do you see that face of his?"
Nichole opened her mouth to respond but her boss continued to ramble on, "The fact that you're acting as if you're irreplaceable is disgusting. So since you think you're irreplaceable, I'm going to fix that."
"W- what do you mean?" Nichole felt her heart sank to her stomach because she didn't want to be fired. As silly it sounded, this job meant a lot to her.
"You're fired, Nichole. The general assistant will be taking your place, never knew they were really good with photos."
"T- that's unfair!"
Her boss responded back rudely, "I could just fire you instead. Maybe this time you could get your act together. You start next week on Tuesday, make sure to get all the photographers number before you leave. Collect your things and take this time to relax, be here at five thirty in the morning on Tuesday. You'll regret it if you're not on time."
