Chapter Three~ You've changed

The bell rang indicating third period was over. I sighed in relief as I got up and walked out, leaving Levi behind. I swung my bag over my shoulder as I started to walk to my next class, but then walked the other way to the exit. Yea I don't feel like school today, even though it's my first day. I walked out when no one noticed and started to leave the school campus. All of a sudden I ran into someone and lost my balance and fell down on my ass. I groaned, "Watch where you're going asshole!" I muttered loudly. I looked up and found those steel grey eyes starring down at me. Levi... "Tch brat I think it's you that needs to watch where you're going." He replied and put it hand out. I rolled my eyes and blushed slightly as I took his hand and he helped me up. I looked up at him, I'm shorter than him? When did that happen? I used to be taller than him...well I am short...(if you are taller than levi just imagine you're a shortie haha) well whatever! He smirked "Hey there shortie" he grinned as he patted my head. "Hey! You're short too you Baka!" I replied. He only tsked and rolled his eyes. "Whatever, where are you headed? Isn't it your first day of school?" He looked at me emotionless but his eyes had a curious look in them. "Hm, yea it is but I really don't feel like being here. I hate school. I was just gonna ditch. Please don't tell, I don't need them telling my parents..." I groaned. "Tch I won't tell a damn soul, I'm ditching too so it's fine by me." He told me as he took out a cigarette out of his pocket and a lighter. I watched him in interest. "Oi, brat what you starring at?" I blushed and looked away. "Nothing, sorry..." I replied. "Tch, want one or ya just gonna keep looking back at me with those big puppy eyes?" He stated with the cigarette in his mouth. "No I don't want one, smoking is bad, Levi" I playfully scolded him. He grinned softly and rolled his eyes as we walked out of school together. "Yea whatever, anyways how have you been?" He asked. "Fine I guess. Just, I don't know still trying to get used to things I guess..." I replied as I followed him to where ever we were going. He simply puffed out some smoke as a response. "I'm glad you're still here though, I missed you..." I said shyly as I looked at the ground hiding my blushing face. He stopped walking and looked at me before throwing the cigarette on the ground and stepping on it, then gently grabs my chin to make me look up at him. "I missed you too, and I'm glad you made it back in one piece, {f/n}...but it does seem like you've changed..." he looked at me slightly worried. "Well I'm not the same 5 year old kid I used to be...things have happened and things have changed..." I muttered. "What things?" He asked. "Why do you care?..." he stayed silent for a minute before backing me into a building wall and pinning me too it. "Because I care about you {f/n}, and I want you to be okay, I haven't seen you in over a decade...and you're all I could think about in that time..." he looked at me and I could tell he meant every word. "I care about you too Levi..." and with that he kissed my lips softly, I could taste the cigarette on his lips, but I didnt mind, 'at least he kept his promise...' I thought until he let go for air. He smirked, "Good, now I have something I want to show you" he grinned. "Okay! Fine with me I'm sure it's better than school." I muttered. He smiled, yes smiled and nodded in agreement. He grabbed my arm and we started running to wherever he was taking me. As we walked I couldn't help but think, 'have I really changed that much?'
