Chapter eight

Its been days since I saw ally. She's been busy with Jake. She didn't even bother to text me.

Tomorrow is the dance. Normani and Lauren made me go dress shopping with them.

Normani bought me a dress in case I changed my mind in going. It was a red long dress.

I picked red since it was ally's favorite color. I have to get her off my mind. Maybe I should go to the dance.

I don't know. My phone dinged and i grabbed it from my purse.

Ally💗: hey! Sorry I haven't talked to you in a while !! I miss you❤️

To ally💗: it's okay, I've been busy too.

Ally💗: are you going to the dance tomorrow?

To ally💗: no, why?

Ally💗: you can't not go !!!!!!! My bestfriend has to go! I'll be your date❤️

I smiled and licked my lips.

To ally💗:didn't Jake ask you?

Ally💗: he did , I said no , see you tomorrow at 5❤️

I smiled and got up. I looked at my dress and ran my fingers over it. I found black pumps and put them in front of the dress.

I laid down on my bed and tried to go o bed so I could get up early and go out to get ready for the dance.

The next morning

I got my nails and make up done so far. I was in the middle of getting my hair done.

I couldn't wait to see ally. Even though it wasn't a real date. Just a best friend date, I was still excited.

It was 3 30. I had an hour and a half. I got ally a red rose corsage. My hair was done after 4 30.

My mom picked me up from the hair salon and took me home. I got in my dress and heels and added a necklace and a bracelet.

I grabbed ally's corsage and went down stairs. Ally was already here waiting. She looked absolutely stunning.

She was wearing a long tight red dress and black heels too. My dress was lighter though.

Her face dropped. "Pictures" my mom said pushing us together.

I put my arm around ally and smiled. I handed ally her corsage. She handed me a blue corsage.

I smiled. " I know it doesn't match your dress , but it's you favorite color" she smiled.

"Thank you" I smiled putting it on.

My mom wanted a few more pictures. We took a few more photos and then we left for the dance.

At the dance

The dance was a starry night theme. It actually looked cool. Me and ally walked in and got a photo.

We sat down at a table with Lauren and normani. "Where's your dates" I asked.

They both shrugged. "Where's yours" Lauren asked.

"Ally" I said blushing.

Lauren raised an eyebrow and grinned.

I shook my head and looked at ally. She was looking around for some one. My heart dropped.

"Who are you looking for" I asked.

"Oh no room" she smiled looking at me.

"Let's dance" normani said getting up.

She grabbed Lauren's hand and pulled her up. Lauren groaned.

"Let's go dance too" ally said getting up.

I followed her to the dance floor and the dj was playing Beyoncé's drunk in Love.

It was two hours in the dance and finally a slow song came on. It was kiss me by ed Sheeran.  Ally grinned and did a bow thingy.

"May I have this dance" she asked.

I laughed and nodded. She put her hands on my waist and I put my hands on her shoulders.

She was smiling. "So do you want to tell me what you've been wanting to tell me" I asked raising an eyebrow smiling.

Her smile dropped a bit. "Promise me you won't think anything different" she said biting her lip.

"Promise" I said.

"I like my best friend" she said. 

I shrugged. "Whats wrong with that, who is it" I asked.

"You" she said quietly.

I barley heard her. "What" I asked stopped dancing.

"I like you, more than a friend" she said.

She looked like she wanted to cry. She pulled away and walked away.

"Ally" I screamed after her.

I followed her outside.

"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have told you" she said wiping a tear away.

"No, you should have, I like you too, more than a friend" I blushed.

"Really" she sniffed.

"Yeah" I smiled.

She wiped under her eyes carefully.

"Let's Head back in" I said putting out my hand for her to take.

She took it and I began to walk. She pulled my hand back and I turned around.

Her lips smashed against mine. In that moment it was like everything stopped. Like it was just us.

She pulled away and smiled. "I've been wanting to do that for awhile now" she smiled.

I blushed and tugged her inside. We sat at the table alone. She sat next to me and held my hand under the table.

"Do you want anything to drink" I asked.

"Sure" she smiled.

I let go of her hand and got up. I poured two drinks into a cup and went back to the table. I handed her one and sat down.

I took a sip of my drink and her hand immediately grabbed mine again under the table.

After the dance

"You can sleep over if you want to" ally told me.

We were leaving the dance looking for her car.

"Do you want me to" I asked putting my hands around my self.

It was getting chilly outside.

"Obviously I want you to sleep over" she said nudging her arm with mine.

She was a bit taller in her heels. I laughed and shook my head.

"What" she asked.

"Your still short in heels, it's adorable though" I smiled.

She rolled her eyes. We found her car and got in.

"So do you want to sleep over" she asked.

"I don't have clothes" I said.

"You can use mine" she rolled her eyes starting the car.

"Sure , I'll sleep over" I smiled as she pulled out the parking lot.
