chapter two: pinky promises and possessiveness

When I wake up, I see fast moving trees. I must be in a car. I looked to the left to see that Ladybug was driving at a very fast pace.

I sit up in my chair.

"Morning," he says to me.

"Morning Ladybug," I greet back.

"Can you tell me how you know Killian? You're human." he didn't seem as nice as he did yesterday.

"I-I...h-he." I stutter looking for words. He grabs onto my hand. I instantly calm down. "He killed my Nona and Mr. Boobear."

"Mr. Boobear?"

"My stuff bear that my Nonna gave me."

"How old are you Cara?"

"I'm 17," I answer. "How old are you LadyBug."

"27."

"Your old," I giggle.

"I'm sorry about your Nonna, Cara. Killians..."

"A big meanie." I finish.

He growls. "Did he touch you? You know-," he says but I cut him off.

"He tried to once but I kept biting him. Then he didn't give me any food for a few days."

He snarled.

"You're just like him," I say scared. "Let me out. I want Mr. Boobear."

"I'm sorry. I lost my temper Princess. I'm nothing like Killian. I'm going to take care of you now."

"Pinky promise." I hold out my other pinky.

"What's that?"

"You don't know what a pink promise is. Let me see your pinky." he holds it out. "Your pinky so much bigger than mine."

I giggle wrapping our fingers together. "Do you, Ladybug, pinky promise to take care of me?"

"I pinky promise Princess."

"That was three ps."I laugh.

"Which reminds me? I need to pee Lucy."yo
"We're almost there and please do not call me Lucy."

"I need to pee now." I whine. "Please Ladybug."

He pulls over a few minutes later into a gas station. I immediately get out of the car. Lucien does the same. I rush to his side so I could hold his hand. It felt nice holding his hand.

We walked together. He shielded from the guys smoking outside. We went into the dirty bathroom. I looked at him weirdly.

"What?"

"Turn around."

"You shouldn't hide from me."

"Turn around Ladybug. I need my privacy."

He sighs before turning around.

I do my business and go to wash my hands. He turns back around.

"Why do insist on calling me Ladybug?"

"It's cute."

"You're cute."

"I'm adorable," I giggle.

"Maybe we should go shopping while we're out. You don't have any real clothes. Do you?"

"I have some at my Nonna's house but they burnt it down."

"I'm sorry."

"I don't want to spend all your money Lucien," I say.

"Don't worry about it princess. I have plenty of money. Get whatever you want."

"In that case I'm going to need a lot of pink dresses," I say looking through the clothing racks. "What is your favorite color?"

"It's the color of your eyes."

I smile.

I pick out a flowery dress with a big pink bow on it. "I love this one."

"Maybe you can wear it out."

"Yay!"

Lucien had a big house. "Woah."

"You like it!"

"Yeah but where's the pink."

"Pink isn't really my color."

"Pink is the bestest color in the world."

"Let's go hang up your clothes."

"Okay bossy," I smile and walk with him upstairs.

"I think it's time for bed princess"

"But I'm not tired," I yawn as I continue to watch the movie on the couch.

"I think you are," he swoops me up into his arms.

"I'm not." I whine. He ignores me and carries me up the stairs. "Your strong Ladybug." I laugh sleepily.

"You could've chose any nickname and you choose Ladybug," he chuckles.

"If you make you that upset then I'll call you Lucien."

"It's fine princess." he smiles. "Just not in front of my pack members."

"Wolves. Am I ever going to see your wolf?"

"Eventually maybe but for now I want you to get to know the human side of me."

"Is your wolf a meanie like Killians?"

"Let's just go to bed Princess. You can sleep in my t-shirt," he sets me down and hands me a shirt from the end of the bed.

"I'll be back," I say in a dark voice.

"Change here Cara."

"No sir," I said as I was about to stomp away.

"If you change here I'll give you the surprise present I got for you," He smirks.

"What is it?"

"It's a surprise Princess."

"Fine. You win this time Ladybug."

I take off my dress and slip on the t-shirt which fits me to mid thigh.

"I'm done!" I shout jumping onto the bed. "Now where's my present."

He hands me a big blue box. It had a pink bow on it. Super cute. I opened it up. My eyes widened with joy. It was a totally awesome brown bear. I squeezed it tight.

"Look at the paw."

It had my name on it. "This is amazing. Thank you!"

I jump up to hug him. "The present is awesome but I think your the best thing that's ever happened to me Lucien."

He leans down to kiss me and I let him. "You took my first kiss Ladybug."

He smiles.

"I'm glad you haven't been touched Princess. It makes you so innocent."

"Why?"

"Cause you're mine Cara. Forever."

"And ever, and ever, and ever." I finished. "I'm' tired Ladybug."

"Alright Princess," I lay down on the bed and get under the covers. Lucien lays beside me and wraps his arm around me. I snuggled into him.

"Goodnight Princess."

"Goodnight Daddy."
