She remembers something, something that I almost forgot about.
She's getting better.
See, she's strong and now she's recovering fast.
"I can't believe out of all of that, you remembered my favorite coffee." I laughed.
"Hey, I'm working on it." She laughed.
"You know," She said. "if I don't get my memory back, can we start over?"
"Of course, but I know you'll get your memory back." I said confidently.
"You have too, otherwise I'll have to start all over and it took too long to get me in the place I'm in now." I chuckled.
I've worked really hard to convince her to start going out with me and I would never give up until she said yes.
When she did, I felt like the luckiest man alive.
"And what is that position?"
"Getting to be with you." I smiled.
"Aw, I like being around you too!" She said as she leaned in and hugged me.
I just sat there for a second surprised but then returned the hug.
It feels good to do this again.
I don't even remember the last time I gave her a hug.
She then let go and leaned back on the bed.
"You make me actually want to try to remember." She smiled.
And you make me love you even more everyday.
Her eyes then became glossy and her cheeks turned pink.
A tear then slid down her cheek.
"Why did this have to happen to me?"
